Mathew Shepherd. Laramie, Wyoming. ( new evidence shows that it was s drug deal murder not a hate crime associated with the homosexual ) Quote:The murder continued to attract public attention and media coverage long after the trial was over. In 2004, the ABC News news program 20/20 aired a report quoting claims by McKinney, Henderson, and Kristen Price, the prosecutor and a lead investigator, that the murder had not been motivated by Shepard's sexuality but rather was primarily a drug-related robbery that had turned violent.[15]Did you really not know of any of this? Can you point out where a poster suggested this? Kid is getting off with a misdemeanor. Did someone suggest we should have different laws? Unless they were in a Lexus the chance of hearing someone whispering into a phone while in the trunk of a car is probably somewhere between zero, and none. I just have to keep reminding myself that liberals want this type of event to be true. Desperately want this type of event to be true. Activist liberals create multiple false flags to run on and get people elected. The USA is one of the most cultural/ethnic/diverse/gay friendly places on the planet. It is pretty remarkable how all of us get along so well, but to their talking points you would think it is a savage society where evil conservatives are out in full force killing everybody. Most people just want to work and go home. Most people just want to work and go home. There is no money in being an activist if there are no things to protest and agitate against. For instance, homophobia now means anybody who less than fully enthusiastic about any whim that strikes the GLBT movement. Thus, protesting the Cincinnati St. Paddy's Day Parade. My, how the goalposts have moved. (03-04-2015 06:08 PM)SuperFlyBCat Wrote: Most people just want to work and go home. I recently heard a description of these type of people: the Quietest American. As in the Quietest American holds their values mostly in family, maybe a little religion, a few close friends, the avoidance of the Hollywood and the nightly news, the rote of commuting to work and coming home, trying to stay off the dole and taking responsibility for one’s own disasters. There is simply no time to kidnap LGBTQ-LMNOPQRSTUVWXZ activists, hold them hostage, and threaten their family. Nor is there the desire too.... But I am constantly reminded that as a successful white male I am just thissssss close to throwing gays off buildings, punching women, not appreciating minority authors, ridiculed as basement-dwellers for avoiding aggressive, demanding women with unrealistic expectations, or being called a rapist and misogynists merely for expressing sexual interest. I am sure this is progress, according to many liberals. |
