Troy will start out hot, and get hotter. This game will be decided in the last minute of the game, and just because it is at Cajun Field perhaps the Cajuns come back or hang on to win by single digits.
As usual turnovers are crucial, and if Troy can play a non dirty game it might even be big in their favor, but I doubt they can change their spots in one game, and will exceed their league leading penalty average.
Arkansas State: The Cajuns played very well....just saying...

Vegas has TROY @ a 14 pt underdog against ULL.
But, Vegas had us @ a 3 pt favorite over ULM last week too. So....

RE: Louisiana vs. Troy
I don't see the Cajuns coming out flat on this one as I honestly believe a win here gets a bowl invite.
I will say that if Troy keeps it close going into the 4th quarter, then the Cajuns will be in for a dogfight at the finish.
Good luck to both teams, put on a great show for the fans at home and on national TV, and NO INJURIES!!!

So..........that's why they play the game.
Looking forward to an exciting game. Hopefully the weather is decent and there is a good crowd on hand.

Saw a tweet that Deon Anthony had ankle surgery Saturday and is out for the UL game. Any word on this, Troy fans? Deon is a Louisiana product and a fine player. I would hate it if he misses the chance to play in front of his family and friends. On the other hand,if he is out, that is one less threat for the Cajun D to stop.

He is apart certainly out for Thursday. A few others may or may not be as well.
Now on to important things. Will the tailgating be up to the standard you guys set on Saturdays?

You saw what happened to Troy's offense when Deon was sidelined during the ULM game. Without DA our offense becomes much less dynamic, and I don't feel confident enough to predict a win over UL without him.
Let's hope he can play.

Regrettably, it probably will not be. It still will not be hard for a Troy fan to find free great food and drink, but not so easy as on a Saturday. Thursday you may have to walk a couple of hundred yards, instead of 10 to get fed.

Due to the fact that the game will be played on a Thursday, tailgating will probably not be up to the usual Cajun standard. However, it will still be well above average!
I will take this opportunity to invite any Troy fans that will be making the trip to come and visit us at the Krewe de Chew for some pre-game tailgating. We will be out at Cajun Field no later than 12:00 Noon and will welcome any Trojans. To find out where we are located, and learn more about our group, visit our web site at http://www.krewedechew.net.

No offense but I'm gonna be a big Troy fan Saturday. I'll settle for a shared title this year! but I wouldn't want to share it with anyone other than the Cajuns!!!

None taken. I'm a big stAte fan this week for practically the same reason. Don't want to share it, but if we must I'm ok with sharing with stAte.
I don't have to doubt that ULM fans are Troy fans this week because they're over on go troy trojans agreeing with each other that we're just a bunch of classless meanies.
