Louisiana [don't call me] Lafayette and some WKU
Well the offensive unit thread went to pot, so here we go. I have no proof other than my gut and my gut tells me WKU wins by 10. 31-21. ULL will score an early TD, but WKU will also put up a few early. Once the two teams adjust, they will settle in with a 17-14 score. The horses will wear down ULL and find endzone 2 more times, ULL will get 1 more to make it respectable, but WKU runs out the clock. 31-21.

RE: WKU Hilltoppers v. ULL Cajuns: Game Thread
I have no doubt in my mind Western is a better team than Ark which might be the worse team in the SEC this year....yes even worse than uk. AA powers through the ULL defense and we 7 to 15 yard pass them to death. The one ray of hope for ULL...Western hasn't shown yet it can stop a dual threat QB

UK is making some decent plays. I see them upsetting someones season. Just too outmatched by bama. thought I was going to get to go to that game. A sexy little blonde was going to take me, but had a family emergency (she's a UK student). Would have loved to see UK students yelling roll tide...

looking forward to this game in a big way.

The good thing about this game is we're not playing Kentucky and your not playing Arkansas. You have a very good team got that but we have turned the corner on our season. We have beaten the teams we are suppose to beat. This game is a toss up and will probably be settled by less than seven either way unless one team has a large turn over margin. Cajuns 27-21

Our guys (UL) can respond here if you so choose. ULL is not who we are.

RE: WKU Hilltoppers v. ULL Cajuns: Game Thread
Can't wait to watch this battle. I would give WKU the edge just because they are the home team. WKU win over ULM on the road is the best win between the two teams. I don't know which would be better for stAte. We play UL next week so would it be better them coming in confident after a win or a little nervous after a loss.

Haters Zee, don't you know we will get killed by that vastly superior team we are gonna face on Tuesday? Lord knows the the WKU RBs are getting the Tony Mitchell hype. There is no doubt this will be a war, and we may not come out on top, but we will not be overmatched by the menstral clots.

Cajuns are totally different team this year than last. Cajuns much more physical, and will handle a bunch of clots, like a box of Oxi Magic.

Cajuns 45
Clots 31

Fine, I'll play along. Just copied and pasted my comment from the other thread. Please notice I called you UL. I don't think people are intentionally slighting you, it just takes a while to get used to dropping an L. Also, I have thought about it and it would be better for stAte if you lost. If we ever want to get to the NOLA bowl, we can't be tied with you in conference. Also hoping that WKU gets "Bensoned" if we have a lot of teams bowl eligible.

Did you use the ULL just to tick us off? You could have simply put Cajuns. It's going to be though to get out of Bowling Green with a win but I'm betting we do just that.

Actually out of all of the teams in the Belt, Texas St and y'all are the two programs who have been respectful towards the Cajuns and I know I have a ton of respect for stAte.

With all of that being said, WKU is not God's gift to the Sun Belt. My position by position breakdown was accurate and got destroyed because I stated that WKU has flaws and Allen is not as good as Harris or McGuire. Hell I'm not sure Andrews is better than Harris, he has double the carries but nearly identical stats.

Defensively WKU is better at the LB and FS/SS positions, that's it. With WKU being at home it will be a hell of a game and the Cajuns will have to play very well like they did last week to win, but this is no gimme game for WKU like some toppers fans think.

A little hypocritical of you to ask, considering most of your posts are attempts to insult or belittle other teams.

RE: WKU-UL game thread
the cajuns are a team that we've matched up well with in the past 3 years.

we've really improved the last 2 games.

western fans saying they think allen is better doesn't mean they think your back is trash. that's juvenile message board logic. the message board equivalent of locker room bulletin board material.

he was leading the country in rushing and 'nearly identical' is still a yard more per carry. he also had decent success against the cajuns last year.

my gut says we pull it out at home but that doesn't mean i think the cajuns are garbage.

also....for those keeping score....we don't have any white starters on dee!

lol.

RE: WKU-UL game thread
Under Hudspeth ULL doesn't win a lot of close games...28%

FIU by5
FAU by 3
ULM BY 1
San Diego St BY 2
WKU BY 4
Akron BY 5

When ULL losses it's usually by a TD or more
Oklahoma St. 27
WKU 19
Arkansas St 9
Arizona 8
Oklahoma St. 41
North Texas 8
Arkansas St 23
Florida 7
Arkansas 20
Kansas St. 21

If WKU wins and I believe we will...it's by more than a TD . 2 TD's sounds about right

WKU by 14

So we have it correct I believe it's Louisiana-Lafayette or the University Louisiana-Lafayette...I can't find a University Louisiana on the WKU schedule

Louisiana 42
Western Kentucky 21

The Cajuns seem a little more solid so far. Both teams have played poorly at times, but maybe the Cajuns have done less of that. My prediction is not based on any kind of "perceived" hatred of WKU. I know its coming so can you guys (the two of you know who you are) hold on to that jealously card for one more post? Louisiana, in my opinion is simply the better team at this juncture.

A little hypocritical of you Mathenis. You do a considerable amount of belittling yourself. So is it the pot calling the ketting calling the coffee beans black?
