I don't think Hamilton's dad would throw Floyd under the bus because they have been friends for a long time. Of course, after what Floyd did, it was very big of Hamilton's father not to do so.

It is comments like that which made it impossible for Hamilton to reconsider and come back to UTEP.

The kid made a mistake and El Paso jumped all over him for it. If we had recognized that he made a mistake and gave him a pass, maybe he would have reconsidered and played for UTEP afterall.

People like you however turned on him immediately and gave him no room to make ammends.

Hamilton may have said he was still planning to come to UTEP in the summer but that doesn't mean that he hadn't already asked to get out of his LOI in April.

According to some articles I read, Has asked out in April but was convinced to reconsider. This would explain why he still said that he was planning to come to UTEP in the summer.
