If can grab a rebound or two then go get him. It would be more than what we got from Black and Goodwin. Can't be any worse.

Is there anything worse than the area players and their entourages? Yes.

Being an area player who sucks up a scholarship, yet can't get off the U of M bench. It would be tough for everyone involved.

Two rebounds would seem easy to get at that height, but then Stan...or Garcia...didn't have many rebounds fall into their hands.

Angel was badly misused. Just because he is 6-11 doesn't mean he should have been a space eating, board grabbing menace. He never was that kind of player.

We didn't misuse him. The guy was 6'11" - he has to at least try and rebound the ball. He's not a guard.

Garcia lived on the three point line on offense, threw up a shot immediately at every opportunity, never hustled and didn't even try to rebound effectively.

He was just a terrible guy to have on your team.

As to Angel, very few 6'11"s can hit from down town. But THAT was not a Puerto Rican license to avoid rebound responsibilities, especially at that height. With all due respect to Dorsey and other Memphis' 'bigs', I'm still waiting and hoping for a Memphis BIG who delivers the 'big', big time.

This isn't the playground either.

The 6-11 guy HAS to rebound some in that situation.

He also needed to work the post (even if was high post) and get it to open teammates.

He's a big so its hardly notworthy.

All the big time programs offer certain 3 star bigs if they see potential and have a need.

Bigs can develop more than guards.
