looking at the OOC scores today, i would like to refute Madddawgz eternal claim that the MAC as a whole matches well with the Big10 as a whole.....

just insanity.

Top 10 dumbest play in football history.

It's no buttfumble. That might be my favorite thing that has ever happened.

As far as the Big Ten has fallen, there is no argument to make.

They're a decent FCS program, but that should be a pretty easy W.

But SIU almost beat Illinois who clobbered Cincinatti.

go figure.....that's college football, you never know week to week......I still can't believe the Illinois win

My argument was mainly on last year, you cannot deny the MAC was on par with the Big 10 last year. Even today the bottom feeder EMU played Penn State even for a half. NIU from the MAC finished ahead of ANY Big 10 team in the final BCS standings.

I think any low probability BCS run for NIU will heavily rely in the success or failure of Iowa.

EMU didn't play them even, they just got a free touchdown and said "thank you."

Come on MD. EIU gave up 502 yards to SIU 440 to San Diego State.

We should be able to name the score on offense.

I know several UT alums.....they want Mack Brown to go play golf, but he and the AD are joined at the hip, and a couple of big donors love the guy

He makes way too much money to go anywhere, and has the National Championship....well, texas could probably afford to buy him out, but they still don't want to.

Fleck actually said this after the game:
Quote:"Do you want to go back to being a 3 or 4 win team, or can we row the boat and move forward."

I swear I'm not making that up.

Its almost reaching the cult-like level now with this boat stuff. Starting to remind me of the movie Children of the Corn, except with a boat replacing the corn.

Repeated words lose meaning and effect. He's going to be howling at the moon, or whatever the sailing equivalent is of that....dolphin noising at the moon?

I swear I'm not making that up.

You can row backwards too...but maybe that's an advanced technique.

He'll be fine, WMU just won't be instantly good because their coach is good at getting attention and controlling culture.
