Stay classy Oregon
Sticking to Oregon form, Terrance Mitchell delivers illegal hit, gets disqualified and the players and coaches come over to congratulate him as he smiles and laughs.

You have to admit Oregon is pretty thuggish and sleazy. They're pretty cocky for a team that has never won a NC.

john, I'm siding with Okla on this one. He showed no remorse for what he did (And it was an OBVIOUS hit, unlike the one in the A&M/Rice game, which I thought was a bad ejection). The guy is acting like "I didnt do anything wrong!" and laughing and smiling after the fact.
The other players/coaches coming over to him didnt' bug me as much. It was a case of "we'll be all right, don't worry about it'.
But his smiling after the hit did bug me a bit.

This guy should NEVER be allowed to play again.
A sliding QB and you go helmwt to helmet with him? He needs to sit a lot longer than the rest of this game. Thats POS move right there. If im in Nicholls State im sending in a back up to CRUSH their QB after the whistle when he isn't looking.

I'm confused john, what's the point of the second video? The kid screwed up, the refs threw him out, and he's mad the refs threw him out. If anything, your argument sides with okladixie..
The Duck player just smiled and laughed on the sideline, as if 'Yep, I took that cheap shot..." They were both (The players) in the wrong, both during the play and their post-play antics on the sidelines.

it was of his sideline antics, not his on the field moment (that I understand, adrenaline gets the better of you for a moment) that got my "ire" (although I'm not sure that's a fair word).. feeling of disgust?

did you watch the whole video. that player was acting like he got wrongly ejected and was whining the whole time. he had to be dragged off the field by a coach.
im not saying what the oregon guy did was wrong, but the OP has a lot of hate for that program and is using something that happens pretty frequently to out this program.

yeah, i saw the video... Again, the Arkansas player was in the wrong for going on a tantrum on the sideline.
I think the oregon player was in the wrong for smiling and (what appeared to be) joking about the hit as well.

I think anyone would be just as mad if it was their QB getting crushed.
Just a cheap shot that should be universally condemned, no matter what anyone else's agenda might be. Even if another kid acted like a fool when he did the same thing. Doesn't change that the kid could have ended the other kids playing career and laughed about it on the sideline.

If Nick Fairley still played college ball, he'd be kicked out of every game.

He should get at least 1 full game of suspension plus the balance of the game the foul happened in.

RE: Stay classy Oregon
i remember TCU/baylor from two years ago perform the dirtiest and most dangerous hit i have ever seen in cfb. but no suspension ever came from it.
its amazing how things get swept under the rug in cfb.
