I am looking on stubhub and found some really cheap tickets (current student strapped for cash). I really want to make this trip. I got stuck at home last night while a bunch of my friends made the trip ECU. I hope they are down to make another road trip two weekends in a row.
To say I am stoked for this game is an understatement. I will be sitting in with all the other ODU fans cheering our guys on. Can't wait to see the Monarchs kick some Terrapin butt.
Oh and I apologize beforehand for my buddy. His wife , who is a Maryland grad, may make him wear Terrapin gear.
Well I had my typical situation at ECU. I sit in the ODU section, surrounded by fellow Monarchs except for the four seats in front of me. Four ECU kids buy four tickets off Craigs List. They told me the own of the tickets was from Richmond. I just know they were VCU fans coming for me again.
I think UMD is a markedly better team than it was last year.
FIU/UMD attendance was 36,321
Byrd Stadium capacity 51,902.
I hope that the combination of a game with more regional appeal, and the fact that it is not on a holiday will make for better attendance.

WR Stefon Diggs played well against FIU. Our secondary needs to make their tackles and follow through, or this guy is going to burn us. He'll find a way to stay on his feet if they let him.
UMD has talent, there's no denying this. Our defense is also very porous
(putting it mildly). BUT...
Andybody grading UMD on their game vs. FIU is crazy. FIU is at the bottom of CUSA; we were outrecruiting them last year. UMD has Brown, Diggs, and Long...well, ECU has Carden, Hardy, and Cooper.
My point is this: UMD is going to be a very tough battle for us, but I honestly believe we can win this game. Our guys are going to be extremely motivated and I don't think they want to let another FBS opponent off the hook again. I mean, props to ECU for torching our secondary, but they got two VERY lucky breaks with the fumbles for touchdowns. We've got the first one out of the way. Jitters will be overcome by focus and determination on Saturday.

Worse stat of the weekend 106 defense out of 165 if we were in fbs. The should be put a spark under our boys buts. Hope that the d learned a lesson and now plays to prove us all wrong. We can't keep relying on the o line to make plays and win games.
