Just thought I would update the size from the spring roster numbers I posted awhile back. Only 2 people with 10+ pound gains...going to be smaller on the DL again...hopefully Aiken and Mitchell / Pace have solid seasons.

What is the status of Dijuan Lewis- WR from indianapolis- in . i know he has been injury prone thoughout his career & Jake Golic trasfer from Notre dame. I didn't see their names listed on the updated roster?

Lewis isn't around. Golic is on the Roster. Johnny Holton made it also.

UC updated it again and added in the LB transfer, Eric Wilson, from Northwestern.

Couple other things of note:

Jordan Luallen at LB (this kid will have played nearly every position not on the line of scrimmage before his time is up)
Korey Cunningham listed at DE (6'3, 254 lbs)
Chris Burton still at TE but coming in at 6'3, 272 lbs!
Patrick Coyne listed at TE and not FB
Javon Harrison at WR (thought he would be playing on D)
We have a lot of walk ons as depth at LB - amazing how many we've signed that haven't made it.

Also Braxton Lane looks like he moved to safety.

Wow, he might need to trim down some, lol.
Considering how UC struggled to sigh HS linebackers and then get them
on campus, the guys that are #2 #3 on the depth chart are pretty good
...Tentman, Cassius, The Elder guys Mason Hyland, and McClain is already
big at 250 lbs. Dwight jackson is a linebacker or that is what he played in
2011 as a backup, and special teams. He is listed as a DE?

Also curious to see if EJ Junior makes some noise in practice.

Think about all of the LB's in the past 4 classes that we've lost. Percy Johnson, Errol Clarke, Carroll Phillips, Demetrious Alston, Robert Martin, and Rasheen Jones. We were extraordinarily lucky to have Jeff transfer to us of all places, and stick with us even after his reason for coming (Jancek) moved on.

Side point, a few interesting updates I've heard from people close to the team, De'onte Buckley will be moving to fullback here shortly, as the backfield is logjammed and he has a fairly well developed blocking game. Cogswell has been told to get ready to take reps at QB after all of the attrition at that position. We have four walk-on specialists that will be heading to Higher Ground. I've also been told that the defense will be setting a 4-3 AND a 3-4 base defense, with Jeff Luc playing on the inside and Casseus and Tentman playing on the left along with Pace at the NT, and Stepp and Beard on the end. I've also heard that Austen Bujnoch may be changing positions (yes I know, seems ludicrous but I trust my source), and that DeShawn Bond may be pushing for a starting spot on the line.

Also Joey Jones and Corey Griffen from the 2012 class are apparently no longer around after hanging through the first year. The Eric Wilson transfer now seems key for 2014.

Jones was never going to get PT...if I saw him on the field I'd be extremely worried. But it still is crazy how unlucky we've been with LB's. Heck, even take those who decommitted such as Preston Brown into account, we just have not been able to find steady depth. Blair and Luc have been godsends.

I'm not sure who he is but he's been with the team for several years now.
