True that the fee is only for construction of student seats and the rendering shows what Paulson will look like for the start of the 2014 season.

I have a feeling (no insider info, just a hunch) though that we may see the trucks move to the home side shortly after and start expanding the lower section to the endzones. The upper deck and renovating/rebuilding of the press box may take 5-7 years before it is started. All this is highly dependent on demand for seating and funds raised.

I'm usually a "Johnny come lately" on these threads, but I thought the sideline extension was going the full distance from bottom to top of the bank, it looks like they're not going all the way up as the walls are not torn down toward top rows. What's up with that ?

No way they would have pushed a student fee increase if we were not moving FBS and no way the FOC gets any momentum to stay FCS. Therefore, if Grube was still here, none of this would be happening.

They will be cutting across and adding a concourse where the seating is ending there. The current seating above that will be slightly modified as well, so it doesn't make sense to extend all the way up just to come through next year and have to rip it up to reconfigure.

I think we are agreeing here. If Grube didn't fire Hatcher in 2009, there is zero chance we would be in the Sunbelt right now. Hatcher would have went 3-8 or worse in 2010, and we would have been a total mishap.

The stadium is going to look weird this year, but it'll be worth it for 2014. What will be an even bigger challenge is when they finally get around to expanding the home side and redoing the luxury and press boxes.

A screwy looking stadium for a screwy type of season. At least there will be more seats this year. First time in 30 years we can say that.

I know the seating expansion looks strange right now, but I'm not going to get bent out of shape about it. There was no way to get the entire expansion done this year no matter when they started. So we just need to bear with it and understand that dealing with six days of under-construction games this year is going to be totally worth it next year.

Glad to see TK has the sense to do something with the pressbox in his first year. That is the ultimate eye sore for Paulson. Sammy Baker thought it was art nouveau

For those of you who haven't looked in a while, some decent progress has been made on the stadium/FOC expansion. Walls are about to go up for the Football Operations Center.

For those of you that think the seating expansion looks funny, it does. That's because they will not put in the rest of the seats up the hill until they put in the supports for the 2nd deck, so for this season those funny wings on the side will be what we have for seating expansion. (Plus the additional seats being put in now in front of the building that you cant see in the camera feeds.

Having trouble opening your feeds for some reason. Never had that problem before.
Went back to the OP also and could not open them from two different computers.
Anyone else having problems with them?
