You can park at the mall or shopping centers off Greenville Blvd. Easy walk and you help support the boy scouts.

There is limited parking supplied by "ECU" plenty of pay parking by third parties around the stadium.

Being from Chesapeake I am looking forward to the game. I hope this is one of many and I wouldn't mind if this became an annual series where we go to Norfolk every other game.

thanks for the info on the stadium and parking. My family and I are looking forward coming down for the game. I am not up on ECU tradition. The No Quarter flag that goes up. That would be the white one, correct? :)

It's not the size, it's how you use it. We'll be using it plenty against you.

What I said was don't let it scare you. What I should have said is surprise you. You'll be amazed what kinda noise comes outta there. Its surprising cause you don't even know it's there. It's small because it had to fit on a Pirate Ship and if you'll remember, howitzers didn't exist when cannons like ours were used.... kinda like your football team not existing until a couple years ago.

ODU will get blown out of the stadium. Just remember I tried to be nice.

Wonder where you got the idea from to use a piece of artillery in your stadium?

Believe what you want. I don't see it happening this way. But, whatever.

I would think the "idea" for the cannon had nothing to do with the toy in the ECU stadium, but the fact that Old Dominion is in one of the largest military centers in the world.

The idea could have come from any of these teams.

I'm saying get something unique going that is completely your own is all.

Most of Norfolk is military. There should be a few more weapons to choose from, right?

I call it longevity. We've been using that cannon as one piece of our gameday atmosphere for 5 times longer than you've had a team, for one. We didn't start using in in 2008.

I'll let y'all worry about the cannon and I'll let the team's play speak for itself.
