25% of LA Tech's senior class signed NFL contracts. Not bad at all.

That is very impressive.

8 players to the NFL is impressive for any team.
I was watching NFL network and Mayock and another analyst were discussing Tech's OL and they said that the tackles should have been switched: the LT should have been playing RT and the RT should have played LT. Now they said they were looking at it from a NFL perspective.

And that's extremely impressive when you consider there were 31 players in LA Tech's senior class. Having 8 players signing NFL contracts is VERY impressive.

CB DJ Hayden - First Round, 12th overall to the Oakland Raiders.
Undrafted free agents:
LB Phillip Stewart - St. Louis Rams
OL Jacolby Ashworth - Washington Redskins
LS Brandon Hartson - Chicago Bears

With that, this will probably be my last post as a member of Conference USA until my school leaves the league. it's been fun, guys. I really, really enjoyed being in this conference with all of you, and I wish every school who will be in this league moving forward the very best of luck. God bless.

Everyone of those guys played all their Houston games as C-USA players, so they belong and we were proud to have them.

Since no one seems to have represented Southern Miss yet:

Jamie Collins in the 2nd round to the New England Patriots and Jason Weaver signed a FA deal with the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The right tackle "Mills" played on the right side all his life and didn't want to switch sides. He just liked the right side.
