What will we do when the new C-USA ranks higher than the new, 'Big', whatever it will be called? W. Kentucky is a good addition to C-USA.

I forget how long they've had a FB team, but they moved up to D-1 only a few years ago. And yes, they've had decent success in that short time, beating some of the good Sunbelt teams no one expected them to and got a Bowl game.

cusa is trying to stay above the Sunbelt not surpass anyone.

W Ky -U solidified their cusa credentials by hiring a discraced coach. 04-cheers

Especially after UConn and Cincy are asked out, and Temple then goes back to the A-10, C-USA will probably get more tourney bids than our new group. If Middle Tenn stays good, with WKy and Old Dominion, and possibly UNC-Charlotte and UTEP, C-USA could get 3 bids, more if the stars align. Southern Miss might not go backwards from this year, and thus be a contender for a bid. UAB has tourney history. Don't know if they'll ever get it back though.

Other than its stupid name, that's going to be a neat football conference . . . Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee State, Southern Mississippi, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Texas-El Paso, Rice, Tulsa (at least temporarily). If they were to add Arkansas State and Missouri State, they might generate more state-wide news interest.

Good fit. The only schools that CUSA added that make you wonder are the Florida Schools. Market prevails I guess.

I would have rather seen Western Kentucky invited to the Big East than Tulane. I have to wonder if the catholic schools would still be here if that happened.

A better addition than F_U and UTSA, in my opinion.

They've had football a long time, just not FBS. Always been D-1 as long as I can remember.
