Bilas says things just to make himself controversial and provoke reactions. That's the only way he keeps himself relevant.

He said 25 of our wins came against the bottom half of college basketball.

That might be one of the biggest lies I've ever heard someone in his position make.

Hes upset about UVa and probably Florida State. Bilas thinks that any team that can beat Duke and Coach K (Uva) belongs in the tournament. He went to Duke. They beat Duke and North Carolina and feasted on the bottom ofthe ACC. They beat Wisconsin non-conference, but other than that they deliberately played a very weak non conference schedule, lost several horrible games (including to 3 or 4 win ODU).

A win over soft Duke and soft Coach K doesnt earn you an at large by itself unless you plyed for him.

MTSU's non conference schedule was rated 9th in the country.

Almost as much as we care what Kirk Herbstreit says.

Actually only about half of those 25 came against the bottom half...a RPI of 173 is half and the muts had 12 wins against teams with a RPI of 174 or higher

Middle is in. Who cares what he thinks?

We heard the unworthy ranting when NIU made the BCS. Check spent just the same.
