IF the ACC were to be raided, where would the smaller, less wanted schools go? I.E. Wake Forest, Boston College, Louisville, etc.

Actually if the ACC went away more then likely we would be in the group that combined with the Big XII....in a weird way the ACC invite raised our profile and the fact Louisville generates $$$ hand over fist.

There is no doubt that the ACC will be raided out of existence. The only thing more certain than that is that Louisville will not find a home in any of the 4 power conferences after the shakedown.

Yet the whorns tried to get into the only BCS conference that would allow the LHN. The PAC said NO, The Big 10 said NO and your little brother in the SEC will definitely say NO.

Larry Scott says Texas' network wasn't a deal killer for Pac-10, blames Big Ten and Texas politics for dashing his expansion plans.
Thanks for trying Texas Tech fan.....now, back to your coloring book.....

I'd have to agree with that assessment. Maybe TCU if they can get back to their 10+ wins a year ways.

Really...lol...ok, look @ it like this name a College Program that has done what Louisville has done this century and have the profit margin to back it up.
Also, think about it for a minute...this program has gone in a relative short time from a C-USA School playing in the Liberty Bowl to having a pair of BCS Bowl wins...Final Fours in both Men & Women BBall...CWS & ending up being unamiously selected to join the ACC even with our academic profile.
But whatever makes you feel better...I am not worried and in the end the same 65 schools will be in a "Contract League"...it was 65 in 1998...it is 65 in 2013.

You know Texas tried to join the Pac 12 in 2011 right along with once again talking to the B1G & ACC...but again whatever makes you feel better...

I thought this was a cooperation thread. The B1G, SEC, and B12 are cooperating to diminish the ACC, and thus reduce the number of major conferences, a la The BEast...

No...the "Cooperation" would be between the B1G/SEC...the Big XII would be like Vultures...picking through the scraps.

If they are, the B1G isn't listening.,,
Maize, there will be plenty of scraps for the vulture's feast. So we'll be having some full bellies after the B1G and SEC finish things off...
