When I listened he was ripping the decision for 1 bid conferences to send the tourney champ instead of season champ similar to a thread here yesterday. He wasn't really pimping MT but it devolved into that because WKU fans took offense. Good news for both programs is that is the longest any show has spent talk about us(almost 2 full hours). They only really stopped to talk Titans free agency for an hour in the middle. Granted it wasn't completely flattering for WKU but "as long as they get the name right" probably aplies. They did have a few embarrassing callers(Bonita). The interesting part is that Withrow implied that Harper was already scheduled but than the show was told by the SID their show "was no longer a priority". Ended the show by saying that if that is the way WKU wanted to play just won't be interviewing any of their coaches in the future. Played lots of crying babies sound effects through out the show etc. Interesting stuff.

They are just harper haters. Were all over him last year after he won for saying MTSU would be in the NIT....Just a bunch of harper haters...haters gonna hate.

This is the first year of round robin so how do you pick a true conference champion when some schools might play the stronger teams twice while a school from the other division played them once.

Do we really want to play a 20 game conference schedule every year? If not you can't have a true champion without the tourney.

But lets say the conference champion was sent...

If that was the case then the muts go to the NCAA tourney twice every 25 years instead of once but that's a improvement

It is amazing to me that you can take a discussion about Chad Withrow being a punk in which not one single MTSU poster made a disparaging comment about WKU and use it as another opportunity to bash MTSU and Kermit Davis. I know that you will blast me again, but you are truly a "one-trick pony".
I love WKU (have three kids with degrees from there) and attend FB, MBB, WBB, VB and BaseB games, but I still manage to have a life. And it is such a good life that I do not feel the need to take out my life's frustrations on MTSU and its fans every time an opportunity arises.
You need to find another outlet for your frustrations.

It sounds like Chad is the crybaby because someone thought 3HL was more important. "If you don't want to be on my show, I'll just take my microphone and go home. And you can't come over to my house and play anymore."

I just listened to the MTSU head coach on there. Pretty good interview I thought.

Heading up to Bowling Green tomorrow. Maybe I will run into Petrino.

The problem is that if your a talk show host you should not trash talk a team which is located well within your broadcast and say how bad they are and then expect an interview the next day from the coach. Just stupid! They do realize that [bad] team just beat the team that sent the so call good team home. This has nothing to do with MT vs WKU. It could have been FIU that won it all. Whom ever is playing the best ball at the end of the year goes.....period and this year it happened to be WKU. I still remember Courtney lee getting hurt right before the tourney started and we lost to USA and sat home after being regular season champs....it happens to everybody. That radio host was butt hurt
