Alcohol should be prohibited too, right, nastybunch?

He who will see will see......Well, Jesus judge me right now if I use dope. Can anyone of you say the same? Make your body a living sacrifice to God, holy and acceptable to God....with a capital G that is.

More news......ECU just signed the nation junior college leading rusher from Utah, too.........fyi.

ECU signs JUCO players :yikes:

I thought JUCO's only qualified in backwards, redneck Mississippi schools?

We sign quite a few JUCOs, getting them admitted into school is another matter all together.

You have to be wrong. After all, after USM beat you in basketball for the tenth straight time, your Pirate brothers let us know that the reason we own ECU in basketball is because we can sign JUCO players and ECU, being the Harvard they are, can't sign JUCO players.

What exactly makes it so much worse? I don't want the legality of it. I want hard scientific facts that makes smoking weed so much worse then drinking alcohol, smoking cigs, or eating extremely unhealthy food.

Yes. Yes Mississippi will. Being born and raised in South Mississippi, it pains me, but my state sucks. It simply waits for the other 49 states to do a trial run on laws before we adopt them. 03-banghead

I don't think the one preaching the verses wants to hear Terence Mckenna type theory that Jesus and his Palestinian pals were all eating magic mushrooms.

I don't need to hear any "Terrance McKenna" theory when I have the truth already. Christ says blessed is he who is not ashamed of me. And, yes, Christ turned the water into wine at the wedding when the host ran out early. Surely you are not comparing wine to drugs, are you? If you are, no need to continue this discussion with you.

You guys have got this all wrong, smoking anything is not good for you.....however mixing a batch of cookies or cakes or pastries with a little weed ......now you got something to enjoy.....so I'm told. Just don't add to much butter or sugar because that's not good for you. [/b]

Very little difference between Mississippi and North Carolina pot laws. We allow 30 grams (little over a oz) with punishment being up to 90 days in jail (never happens) and up to a $1000 fine. You guys allow up to 42 grams (about 1.5 oz) with a $500 fine and 120 days in jail.

Fire and brimstone....can't change that southern baptist culture.

You could tell him that Hearst, Dupont, etc... made hemp illegal because it would've have destroyed their empires. It wouldn't matter. It is akin to the forefathers of science being persecuted.

In macro terms, history has taught us one very valuable lesson. The doctrine of mankind has gotten it wrong every single time. From worshiping the sun, to golden idols, to mythological gods, to god. It has been the purest form of trial and error with error always being the outcome. Throughout the history of the evolution of man, the belief and control that was/is obtained by promoting a "higher power" has enslaved and killed more people than any stupid little weed. Thank GOD we developed the skills to get past the 'flat earth' movement, earth is the center of the universe, earth is 6.5K years old, the earth was created in 6 days, etc.....

Since we are the highest form of intelligence in our solar system, or universe for that matter, (that we are aware of anyway), I can only laugh at the lack of acknowledgement of this lesson and feel fortunate to be alive today than any other time in the past (except maybe the 50's to mid 60's....Ozzie and Harriet ignorance is bliss years).

IMO, ignoring what has been learned, is like running into a wall over and over again...you know it's going to hurt, but since everyone else is doing it....okay, uh yeah, and maybe we should go back to burning 'witches' or reconvene the Spanish Inquisition....that makes sense (total sarc)

It is funny that those that preach 'holiness' are most likely the type to condemn....is the ultimate irony of my experience on this planet....'they' would've stoned me to death as a kid.

I'll pray for ya Stink..No one is condemning anyone, except those like you on here who are criticizing for those who believe and know there is God. Jesus himself told a group to cast the first stone if he is sinless. He did say, however, go, and sin no more.

The only problem with that is Nasty bunch is not southern Baptist.

You brought god into this. 'People' use god to promote an agenda that was created by man. You don't know that god exists just like I can't prove he doesn't. You have faith. I respect that. Do I not have a choice to choose? And like those that preach about faith, do I not have a right to introduce fact? Like religion, you are hypocritical. Do not get religion and faith confused as being equal...they are not.

You never acknowledged the hemp issue which I find sad and will pray that you educate yourself on the history of it.
