RE: Power Rankings 1/22
Everyone ranked below Akron and Ohio is ranked too high. 3rd-6th should be left blank. Ute gap.

Western excepted, pretty much all the 2-2 teams have beaten each other up. Head-to-head is not a good way to go for me right now.

RE: Power Rankings 1/22
CMU:
W at home vs BGSU 73-67
L at Toledo 76-72 in OT
L at EMU 58-52
W at home vs Ball St 71-57
EMU:
L at home against Ball St 60-58
L at BGSU 46-44
W at home vs CMU 58-52
W at home vs Miami 65-58
Toledo:
W at Kent 70-58
W at home vs CMU 76-72 OT
L at WMU 79-56
L at Ohio 76-67
*CMU has held their home court advantage. EMU has not.
*I look at the MAC in groups. Group A: Akron and Toledo Group B: WMU and Kent St Group C: Toledo, EMU, CMU Group D: Ball St, BGSU, Buffalo, Miami, and NIU. EMU is the only team out of the 3 above, to lose twice to teams that are hands down worse (BGSU and Ball St). The other losses mentioned above are to teams in a higher group (akron and ohio), or to teams in their own group. Losing on the road to teams that you should beat is not good. EMU has done that twice.
*If you want to argue that the rankings should be Toledo, CMU, then EMU...fine...they have an impressive win at Kent St and have been on the road for their other two losses to teams in a higher group. If I were to GUESS at why JSF ranked them lower, it would be because they've lost their last two games in row and are trending down.
Again...pretty darn accurate if that's the only beef with ranking 12 teams and the only agreed upon rankings are Akron (1), Ohio (2) and NIU (12).
If I claimed it was 100% accurate...then a smart a$$ comment might be warranted.

Yep. I tried explaining the ranking, but perhaps I didn't do a good job. They just don't have enough men right now.
