I'm watching the Crucible
You know the one about the Salem Witch trials. It's all about hysteria, pretense and cold-hearted men and women who make up public lies and half-truths to promote themselves by claiming to know things not seen by others. And then reasonably good men and women either join in or stand by and do nothing.

I'm unhooking from twitter and Facebook tonight. Carry on with your witch hunts in the ranks of our coaches and 18 to 20 year old kids who come to our great university with all of the talents, strengths and yes, weaknesses that help define them. Never mind our own weak past and present and the chances we have been given to change.

Are you describing some in our fanbase or slowleak media hacks or both?

But we only won by 10 after being up by 20. We stink.

Yes, and only winning by 10 is just unacceptable. Let's face it, "just winning" is NOT enough, contrary to what some prior coaches might have thought. MEMPHIS should win all games by at least 20 and many by 30+.

This is clearly Pastner's fault. He has underachieved from Day 1 when Fredo left the table set for him. A 75% winning percentage is pathetic. MEMPHIS can do better.

MEMPHIS would do well to heed Black Bear fans' opinion - fire Pastner and hire that Wooden clone Andy Kennedy.

Disconnecting may do you good. You obviously take things way too seriously. Some fans are too nice, and some ***** all the time, and most are the normal fans in between. Such is life. Witch trials???? C'mon man........

Destroying people publicly based rumor and innuendo while hideing behind a mask of anonymity? Or digital attacks just for the sake of being the "first" to get the story? C'mon man what.

Obviously there are those on this board who dehumanized sports figures. Fire coaches! Run off kids! Blackball forever people who make mistakes.

And Witch Hunt is a common hyperbole used to Describe merit less persecution. Sorry if that offends your sense of convention.

Finally, yes I have determined that Facebook and twitter have no positive value in my life and I will not be missed.

Now Copenhagen; that's drama.

I watched the play a few years ago. By the time it was over, I was offering to light the bonfire.
