Listen up cupcake. Marshall, Harper Creek, Mattawan, Benton Harbor, Kalamazoo Central, Loy Norrix, Battle Creek Central, and Battle Creek Lakeview have all had one or more players playing D-1 basketball in the last 5 years. One has a starting PF in the NBA.

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but Kyle Randall at CMU is playing pretty darn well right now.

RE: CMU vs Bradley
chips have the second best record in the West right now. That's not saying much considering how weak the division is...but at 7-5, they have exceeded EVERYONE's expectations.

7 wins is more than I thought they would get the ENTIRE season.

Keno's doing something right...even if there are some who think their schedule has been easy so far.

Great win for Keno. Beat 1-11 Arkansas Pine Bluff. :domokun:

Raise your hand if you thought CMU would be 7-5 right now.

(I see zero hands in the air)

RE: CMU vs Bradley
I said they wont win a game in the MAC. You can schedule wins in OOC.

50% of CMUs shots were threes. They took 32. They also had 49 rebounds to 29 for their opponent. They have a 6'6" center and a 6'7" 180 pound WF doing the bulk of their rebounding. People will figure it out. They jack up threes, and go for the long rebound. You think that's going to work against teams that go 6'11", 6'9", 6'7" across the front?

Gimmick offenses fall apart come conference play, when teams have oodles of film to look at.

RE: CMU vs Bradley
You miss the point.

The vast majority of basketball fans predicted CMU to be in the bottom 10-20 of DI college basketball teams.

That hasn't happened.

7-23 is still better than what anyone thought they were going to do.

I cringe when I say this... but I could legitimately see Central starting MAC play strong. All of their first 8 games are winnable. The last 8, I could see a huge drop-off and the wheels falling off.

I say they go 5-11 in MAC play.

Im not sure we go 5-11 in MAC play. I see home wins vs. all the MAC West and away wins vs. either CMU or NIU.

If CMU can handle Bradley at home, and possibly win handily then I may change my "no MAC wins" prediction.

My pick: Bradley by 12.

CMU lost by 17 at home. Prediction stands.

Dip, wrong again! Chips beat Bowling Green to go 1-0 in the MAC. Geez, don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

Yes I watched you blow a 22 point lead in 5 minutes at home.

Every team will press you, every team will throw a zone at you (as they did when they closed the 22 pt gap to zero), and every team will own you under the basket. I'll concede one or two wins. Just don't see that bunch of talentless driveway bombers getting it done for the bulk of the MAC season. I'll give you this, Davis gets more out of those bums than Hawkins would.
