Unbelievably amazing. How long again has it been since we have failed to hit a 3 in a game? Haven't heard on the radio, but I'm thinking it was something like 15 years ago. Outside of the poor shooting, I actually liked our effort tonight. There won't be many times where UAB is going to go 0/23 from 3. I hope our guys channel their anger and disappointment for this Memphis game.

Marshall beating Tulsa 71-46 with 4 minutes to go.
Memphis beating ECU 30-9 with 5 minutes left in the 1st.
SMU leads Houston 26-16 with 5 1/2 left in the 1st.
Southern Miss leads Rice 31-15 with 4 left in the 1st.
UTEP leads Tulane in the only close game by 2 with 4 minutes left in the 1st.

Last time without a 3 was in '96 against Chattanooga.

This was ugly. I hope they got all their ugly out tonight & left none for Memphis game.

Yea I know, I expect Memphis will be buying plenty of tickets to make it sounds like a road game.

I know this game is going to look awful on paper tomorrow, but I saw a lot I liked. The turnovers were down once again. Ball movement was very good, and we had a lot of open shots that just weren't knocked down. We had over 20 offensive rebounds, and that can be attributed to the tempo of the game.(and let it be noted we won the battle of the tempo tonight) We forced many errors tonight. They didn't all result in steals, but they did result in UAB possessions. We didn't foul a ton, which is going to be a key throughout conference play.

It seems like the guys are finally starting to get comfortable in this system, and I think that's going to be huge for next season. Once we get a few more fresh legs on the court, I think things are going to work out very well for Haase.

I really thought, at the start of the season, we might have had a chance to beat Memphis. Now they're coming in and probably bringing more fans than us. I blame the football program!

I really want us to beat UCF one more time too, since they by far have been the biggest jerks about realignment. Maybe in Bartow. Will we win another road game all year?

Out rebounded them by double digits, they had 20+ turn overs to our 11, and we put up 24 more shots. That's amazing.
