Damn, we can't even make the cut while in CUSA.

I think it's pretty clear that no schools outside the big 4 are good enough to associate with each other.

We should all go independent so we can avoid the embarassment of playing one another.

So stupid. All these universities are doing is changing conference names, still playing each other. Old WAC is now the MWC. Old CUSA is now the Big East. Old Sun Belt is now the new CUSA. New Sun Belt is now a channel for FCS programs to move up. Unfortunately, the SBC has some good programs in it.

When will the madness stop.

At some point this insanity will stop, but I hope that the Big Boys will not have removed themselves from all of our Gang of 5's presence which could be fatal. And that is why our Gang of 5 needs a real leader (Chuck Neinas?) to coordinate what we can do as one group with a common purpose of mostly ...............GETTING MORE OF THE NCAA'S CHICKEN SALAD INSTEAD OF THE CHICKEN CACA WE ARE ALL NOW GETTING, DAMMIT.

Actually the $ec is to blame since they came up with the bcs & did everything they could to block out smaller programs from getting bcs access & $$$. Ever since its "how do i get out of my conference into a automatic qualifying league". the $ec also locked up a majority of the good money making bowls since most of them are in the $ec's back yard forcing more bowls & so on. Since the $ec also plays crap ooc schedules we have had more d1aa schools move up so they can be the sacrificial lamb & make $$$ for their school, more schools means more conferences (sunbelt) & we have to have bowls for them so lets make some new ones.......& dont get me going on espn's roll in all of this. Ugh!. Someone please pass the asprin.

Ok settle down. It is hard to say what anything is going to look like for 2013 until we get to the point where schedules have to be finalized and we got a few weeks yet on that. Believe it or not the national championship game might affect this stuff, since the viewship was down due to it being a rout. This might start to get the tv networks (probably wishful thinking to expect much) to use some football accomplishments on their telecast, not just market size.

Time will tell but as of right now, the teams you see in the conference will be the ones in it at the start of football season, of course it is subject to change, but other than maybe ECU and Tulane moving on, I don't see anyone else moving until 2014 at the earliest and maybe not even then.

This is what I realistically think the conference would look like IF it has further defections (and no departing members return). I think we'd see a smaller 14 team league before we'd get to a point of adding teams just for the sake of doing so.
