RE: FSU: How do you feel about Jeffrey Lynch???
10 bucks says Noles fan doesn't even have a college education. I don't mind PiKap he's reasonable and it adds flavor. I'm convinced this will be a close game but we end up losing. Yes they have more talent than us we are aware of that buddy, that doesn't always mean they will win. Football is a game of match-ups, not only that it's a one time game, ANYTHING can happen. I'm tired of people being so negative towards NIU, especially people on the internet. Win or lose we BOTH had great seasons and can be proud of our teams. Oh and after watching a few games I'm thoroughly convinced we have a solid 8 win season in the ACC this year. FSU has a lot of talent plain and simple, NIU has more talent than many are aware of this will be a close ball game. If it's close that doesn't bode well for FSU, yet I still think they win. NIU gains respect Tuesday night, and this un-educated man will hopefully shut his mouth. PiKap I like your analysis keep up on this board, nice to have other perspective, even it's the wrong one haha

I will post again after the game and may continue...this board is also entertaining to me.

I agree that NIU would have won 8 games this year in the ACC...

we will take all the fans we can get, I will admit it's doubtful he will like us though, grew up an Oklahoma fan and when they lost to Boise I've hated Boise since, now I want to be Boise, not sure if PiKap is being condescending with the 8 wins or not ... usually means something

No...I do think NIU could win 8 games this year in the ACC. It was not a strong year at all and outside of FSU and Clemson, they would have been favored in most matchups.

pikapp, NIU has come along way, we are well on our way to being mentioned with the Boise States and the TCU's of the world. Or program is well on our way improving everything from facilities to recruiting. we have a long way to go, but all signs point to progress and continued progress. One step at a time.

Just double checking, you never know, internet never conveys tone. Glad you agree, I think NIU has a lot more talent for upper echelon conferences than many think. Lots of guys here got schollies from bigger schools pulled and against BCS teams in the past few years, down years for those teams or not we've had surprisingly comparable talent in a lot of those match-ups. You think Clemson has a shot with LSU. You gonna be in Miami for this game

Hey I like it when the Non-AQ teams do well...just not when they play against my alma mater.

I would say a BCS game is a major step forward and hopefully you can continue the success. Before Bowden came to FSU, they were never discussed as a football power and he had to build the program almost from the ground up. Our current stadium now seats double what it did in Bowden's first year. As far as major programs go, we are just an infant based on the years we have played football at FSU.

Every program starts somewhere and hopefully NIU can translate this success to where it matters most...fans in the stands.

I am actually now going...wonderful wife surprised me with tickets. I had already discussed staying in Atlanta but my step-daughter is currently a student at FSU so we are all heading down.

I grew up in Fort Myers and will stay there and head over day of game.

This team earned it. They are ranked #15, FSU #12. We wouldn't be in the Orange Bowl if Ohio State,Penn State, UM, etc. hadn't run such corrupt "win at any cost" programs, but hey, we played by the rules and we're in.

Make no mistake, FSU is a good team and deserves respect, as does any other team'

However, NIU is the best non-AQ team in the country. Live with it.

Agree, NIU is the tallest midget.... I've been creeping on this board, watching Pikappa get beat-up. Either way, my Noles win and do so in convincing fashion. I've enjoyed learning about your lack of football tradition, but it's time for this fan base to be silenced. Know your role and enjoy the ass kicking.

Your mom knows her role, and does it well.

He's probably one of those north Florida rednecks; the married

A LOT of FSU fans are the bandwagon types; never went there but have to have an "identity".

FSU does have fans that never attended classes there, same as Florida and other big state schools. I don't have any comment on this fan since I don't know him personally and these posts are obvious to be someone just trolling.

However, and I am sure you agree, there is no fanbase that represents bandwagon fans more than the Hurricanes. I would guess the majority of those fans couldn't even give directions to the campus. 03-nutkick

Without a doubt. The scUM has the worst fans. Bandwagon all the way. A lot of FIU students especially.

I have a lot of friends who are FSU grads, and there's been some friendly trash talk, but nothing serious.

You've been a voice of reason here, unlike some of the other Apalachicola clowns who troll on here.

Dude, your conference is FSU and the 11 Dwarfs. Your vaunted conference has won a grand total of 2 BCS bowls or as many as Boise State03-lmfao

The acc split their season series with the Big East (4-4) while the MAC beat the BE 4-0. Granted it's a small sample size but your league is not the 12 PAC, Big 10, Big 12 or SEC. You are the bottom rung of the AQ conferences, except for the Big East which won't be AQ for long.

O and in case you aren't aware of the history of Non AQ vs AQ teams in BCS bowls, the Non AQ teams have won 3 out of 4. Utah pumelled Alabama, TCU beat Wisconsin, Boise beat Oklahoma.

Take your jive a$$ attitude down a few notches and join the real world.

Good old fashion hate, I like it. Actually, 2007 FSU Grad, booster and season ticket holder. I'm a 3rd genration Nole and in 27 years I've missed 2 home games. I will be at this game cheering my heart out, too. "Bandwagon" is not a word that applies to me.

I will admit, that post was a bit out of line. I've been lurking since the game was announced and my post was mainly a reaction to the obnoxious NIU fans I've encountered over the last few days.

If NIU wins, I'll gladly come back and eat crow. Go Noles!
