Brandon Kearney is transferring away from MSU and I'm hearing he's heading to EMU.

That would actually make a lot of sense.

Funny my first instinct was to guess UD.

Kearney averages 17 mins per game and 2.3 points per game. And he's unhappy with how much he scores....wants a bigger role in the offense.

Translation...Izzo is tough on his players and he can't take the heat...AND...he doesn't want to work hard enough to be a factor in the Big Ten.

I realize Izzo practically walks on water...but does anyone think he might catch crap for another transfer?

I think it's a valid question. I'm not sure how it would impact his program though. Korie Lucious and Chris Allen transferred for violation of team rules. Sherman and Kearney transfers are more based off playing time and their position on the depth chart.

Hurts the depth. The Lucious and Allen transfers were forced by Izzo don't you think? They broke team rules and he basically threw his arms in the air.

There was a time though, that I was convinced Nix wouldn't last in Izzo's program. After his freshman year, I told my buddy that I thought he would transfer. I was wrong...but it seems like he's always been on thin ice.

Detroit message board says Kearney is likely to land at Iowa St with his old high school teammate Percy Gibson. The poster mentioned that Izzo thinks there might have been some tampering.

Lucious and Allen violated multiple team rules and be gave them MULTIPLE chances to chance before telling them to leave. Lucious hung out with a bad group of people outside of basketball. Derrick Nix would be a good example of someone who effed up and Izzo took him under his wing and helped him straighten out his life. He tried with Allen and Lucious.

Doubtful.

C Mann is at Iowa State.

DJ is his cousin (Izzo assistant).

Tampering would make too many enemies and burn too many bridges.
