MAC 5th Best Conferece above ACC, BE, MW, SBC, CUSA, WAC
Agreed we need to win some games to get some love from the southern and even mid west writers.... Also, I still have issues about ranking conferences based on what bowl games they go too. To many Gimmy games to conference champs and hand shake deals to select conferences.... MAC simply needs to win the games we play in.... Love shall follow...

Yeah, BSU getting thumped by UCF wasn't good... as was Toledo's 4th Quarter collapse to Utah State.
UCF is a GOOD team -- a team where if they bring their A game they can go down to the wire with any team in the country ranked in the not-super-elite class. And Utah State -- very good, and deservingly ranked.
But to get thumped by UCF wasn't cool. I expected a loss, but by more than 10-14 just questions the conference to those who aren't a fan of the MAC.
Toledo's was more understandable with the injuries + it being a late collapse and otherwise close most the game.
CMU needs to take out W. Kentucky
Bowling Green needs to at least go toe-to-toe with San Jose State -- and win if SJ ends up turning the ball over, etc.
Ohio needs to (finally) get their act together and win their game.
Kent St needs to get things together with their coach gone and do the same as Ohio.
NIU needs to at least not lose against the spread.
CMU, Ohio, and Kent St are our best bets for a win. All 3 will not, though.
Followed by BG having a shot if SJ is at least a little sloppy/rusty and BG comes out with their A game.
Followed by NIU which has something to prove for themselves & the conference.
We're 0-2 so far.
I expect us to go 2-5 overall. I will be surprised & happy if we go 3-4. I will be shocked & extatic if end up going 4-3 (losing only 1 more bowl).

What an outrage! There's no way Kirk Herbsreit approves of this.

+1. Very unlikely we have a winning record, as we did last year.
So far it has been a disaster. Last year we were 4/5 I think. This year if we go 1-6 and NIU beats Florida State, it ironically will be the Bowl season to remember.
Why does the WAC not have 3 Bowl games?
