Basketball is back after a break for school (can you believe there are teams that take breaks for something like school? Outrageous.).

NIU has their best scorer back in Nader, and is getting some nice contributions from the freshmen (Akeem Springs scored 21 last game, Travon Baker is averaging 10 points over the last three, and Sam Mader has scored in double figures in three of the last four and is shooting over 50%).

DePaul averages 77 points and forces 17 turnovers per game. This could be a problem...

But, for no particular reason, I'm hopeful. I like playing DePaul/UIC/Loyola, I hope these games are a regular part of the schedule.

You can watch the game with Huskie All-Access or on Depaul's BlueTube (it's pay too), I guess this one didn't even make local TV.

It IS showing up on First Row Sports for those of you that are heartless and cheap like me "legal" free viewing, if you scroll down.

Hopefully it's a good one.

Nice dribble drive by Nader, forced the interior defender to cut him off, found a teammate, NIU gets free throws out of it. Love it.

This is just an entertaining back and force game. Lots of busy hands on defense for both teams.

Damn. We actually had a backdoor screen that would've worked, it was set perfectly, but the ball got away....Ugh!

This is the most fun I've had watching NIU maybe ever. This is a fun game.

Forcing turnovers, playing real O....this is damn fun.

Tied at 22 with 7 or so to go in the first half.
