Sorry but Iowa State's board looks ridiculous. It looks like an interstate truck stop sign.

Pretty sure the South Carolina was a bad photoshop job by The Onion until I Googled it. jeez that thing looks like a joke.

I actually like the South Carolina one.

Not really a leak. It has been known since we got the IHSA bid that our score board was going to be new next year.

The DD article was that attendance one in the Sun Times.

I would keep the screens between the 30s on the East side.

Outside of the 30s (mostly on the North side) the students hit the current signs to make noise.

I think what they would like to do is make the berm higher so it blocks the view of the road and encloses that end of the field a little more.

He was talking about the LED boards, not the scoreboard itself.

I was told the new scoreboard will be internet enabled which will make it easier to provide in-game statistics and scores from other games.

Not a fan of the ribbons...

Here is a link to all the boards in college football..(If you click on the small blue number it will take you to a site to the board itself)

Yes please!!! It looks sort of bad when in the stadium, but nothing makes my skin crawl more than seeing a long shot down our field on ESPN and seeing those apartments in the endzone, makes it look like a h.s. game.

I don't mind the apartments at all, but I sure wish NIU would get rid of the berm and add seats in the endzone. I have a feeling we will soon need them.

I guess you 1. lived in dorms 4 years 2. were a suitcase student or 3. Daddy bought a house in DeKalb for you to stay at while in school.

I guess I just don't get what is so horrible about looking at the apartments.

+1

Nothing screams "We are D-3" like an ESPN endzone camera shot of Lincolnshire Apartments.
