So...you're saying that everyone on NIU sucks, when we had a person that was considered a Heisman candidate, and FSU had no one that was even considered a candidate. Oh, and also, you lost NC State, you don't really think "elite football team" when you think NC State. You can't deny it, NIU won't be easy to beat.

FSU has been a disappointment his season. Had close games against teams that it shouldn't, especially with a down year in ACC, a weak sister to the SEC.. Losing to NC State and not taking care of the Gators in Doak Campbell. A preseason#1 that has failed to live up to
it's and the media's expectations.Huskies can take the 'Noles. Stoops is gone. Jimbo is no Bobby.

Well now...that is a bit of hyperbole right there...I agree that this guy was just here to cause trouble...But to clarify, FSU started the season #3. Stoops is actually going to coach the Defense before the game and Jimbo has actually done really well compared to Bobby's last years.

The Gators are currently #3 in the BCS and NC State won by a single point. We still should have beat them. But you make it sound that 11-2 is a horrible season. Most FSU fans are disappointed because we were expecting a National Championship appearance especially with the schedule this year. Didn't work out...but we are still in the BCS game.

Its also comical they perceive Kansas to be our best win... Ball State, Kent State, and Toldo were clearly better teams than a bottom feeder of an AQ conference.

Also note that Iowa nearly beat Nebraska, and Kansas nearly beat Texas. So if your going to argue we barely beat an Army or Kansas you have to include this side as well.

See, there's just smack-talk, and there's plain 'ol idiot-logic. FSU fans should/would have the same "we're going to kick your arse" as if they were playing Louisville (who is ranked several spots lower than NIU).

IMO, I would rather play a #21 bigger-name-barely-BCS-conf team who barely won their conference...

... than a fired-up America's Darling team who doesn't turn the ball over much, with a record breaking QB and potentially full of surprises, from a conference that beat up on that barely-BCS-conf team, winning that championship over a #17 ranked team, while actually being ranked #15 (even if it's believed to be a bit too high).

In the end, FSU fans have every right to say "We'll stop you, we'll win comfortably, expect to lose," etc -- that's fine. They should say the same thing if they were playing against Louisville. But bark that NIU, despite not having enough challenging teams, hasn't beaten anyone -- and comparing them to D2 or even a 10 win D1AA team is crazy.
