Nasty blow to the Big 10.

Might be a good time for WMU to contact one of his assistants?????

He didn't like how Urban Meyer recruited, wait til the SEC coaches chew him up.

Just saw a RT from Persky regarding Chance Stewart.

Wonder if the QB's future will look like.

Again...might be a good time to look at one of Bielema's assistants?

Some dominos are going to fall now if Wisconsin doesn't promote from within. I can't believe they wouldn't open the vault to keep a coach who took them to 3 Rose Bowls in a row. This is one of the most stunning coaching hires I can remember.

If I were Arkansas I'd give Bobby Petrino a call. Shove it right back in Arkansas' face. They wouldn't have made that trade a year ago.

RE: Bielema to Arkansas
These guys were new this year. Probably don't even have their suitcases unpacked yet.

"...six new assistants — linebackers coach Andy Buh, offensive coordinator Matt Canada, offensive line coach Mike Markuson, tight ends coach Eddie Faulkner, wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni and secondary coach Ben Strickland"

Except that Markuson got canned by Bielema early in the season.

RE: Bielema to Arkansas
I'm not shocked by this move - by any means.

I think Bielema reached his ceiling at Wisconsin. I bet he used the Arkansas offer as leverage to get a big time payday from Wisconsin, they called his bluff, so he left.

There's something fishy going on in Madison, especially when you consider all of Bielema's assistant coaching turmoil last offseason (essentially replaced all of his assisstants.)

In my opinion, Wisconsin won a lot of games over the last 4-5 years in spite of Bielema. His game management is downright atrocious.

Looks like the B1G is a stepping stone to the SEC
Bielema and Saban good coaches go to the better conference.

B1G overrated and they know it that is why they left.

I've heard a rumor that Bret had an agreement with Arkansas before the season even started.

Funniest comment I saw from a B1G fan

In ten years, ALL B1G head coaches will be former MAC head coaches

Looks like Doeren had gotten out just at the right time from Madison.

He'll fit in quite well in Arkansas considering he looks inbred.
