Yet is was our job to prove to you that other cities were interested in buying the Padres franchise?

Is your ability to argue so weak that you can't even play by equal rules?

It isn't your job to do anything. I made an accurate statement that no other city was interested in purchasing this team.

I backed up that information by referencing an article from Boise where they denied ever being interested in the triple A team.

If anyone wants to dispute that, then they should at least provide information that backs that up.

If anything here is unequal it is the fact that I have backed up everything that I have said with facts from articles. You and others have simply either called me name or denied the facts.

Actually, the point I was attempting to make was that El Paso would only build an MLS stadium if we secured a franchise. As I understand it, we would not build the MLS otherwise.

The land for the MLS stadium would be still bought, plus the practice facility that would be adjacent would be built anyway (16 field complex).

To this day I have not read anything anywhere that says that we plan to build a MLS stadium. The soccer complex that is on the bond is for youth soccer fields.

MLS is a pipe dream at this point. If we wanted MLS, we should have moved on it years ago.

This is correct. The MLS stadium can be approved, but it will not be built until MLS grants El Paso a franchise.

I know the truth can be upsetting but there are a few things that you need to understand about El Paso and it has nothing to do with their desire for sports.

Clearly, El Paso loves sports and would love to have professional sports teams but two things that we cannot change prevent that from happening.

1. Location. El Paso is located on the border with Mexico and miles away from any significant city for 500 miles in either direction. That makes it an unpopular destination for tourism let alone sports.

2. Economy. Regardless of how much El Paso loves it's sports, it's citizens do not have the income to regularly support professional sports. Especially if the teams are bad. Just look at how quickly UTEP attendance falls when they start losing.

Blah blah blah. Your points are pointless and you continue to be clueless.

In comparison to your posts which are nothing but personal attacks?

Give me a break.

Those are actually decent points. Though I would have to correct your second point. Attendance falls off when UTEP loses because the general common fan stops going. It has nothing to do with economics. At least in that regard.

I just bought a $1200 mattress. Not sure if that is a lot or not. I am sleeping great now as well. Awesome.

I'm going to need a new one soon. I think the one I have now is about 9 years old.
