Did anyone notice how wide his shoulders are? Dude's gonna be a baller! His throwdown on his dunks was like a blur. He's got NBA athleticism. I can't wait to see him in a game.

It was nice to hear his name announced. I thought his first name was pronounced ja-RON. Not JARE-ren.

My personal opinion was the crowd sounded dead to me. I started watching when they were launching half court shots.

Maybe you guys need to check your speakers. I was there and it was loud. I think it was the best madness yet.

There were no mics on the crowd for the feed.

Anything heard online was so loud that it got through into announcers' mics

Geron Johnson kinda reminds me of Roburt Sallie. He's gonna be exciting to watch this year.

Geron Johnson just has "it"...Good looking kid with D. Rose kind of explosiveness and hops...He is a freak

Don't know if anyone else saw the dunk in warm ups where he did the D. Rose reverse dunk...he brought the ball down, touched his shoe tops and threw it down backwards...Just incredible

It could be the broadcast. Guys were making dunks and it was like golf claps. Not saying that was the case but it sounded that way. The furniture gig was as loud on gotigersgo stream. Not being a wiseguy but it was not loud to us outsiders. Again, it may have been the telecast. Its not like NBA TV was telecasting it ya know. It probably was the sound.

It must have been, cause from where I was sitting, it was deafening.

RE: Its Official
It was def. too quiet for the dunk contest, but Devin took a bit too long to get the crowd involved imo.

GJ was quietly showing his skills, which were solid for sure.

One guy I haven't heard about here is Damien, who shot very well during the Alumni shootout...& btw...we're officially deep for once (if the guys look remotely like they were tonight)

Overall, impressive show by the players...should be an interesting season.

Even liked the hype by the new MOS ppl...something I don't usually notice. BCrew had a quick moment chanting for AN...which was nice. Something I wish they'd get more into...overall.

I'm glad to hear it. It didn't on the stream. Whoever hears the replay will know what I'm talking about.

Best Madness yet? No Artist and most of all no freaking blue and white (gray) scrimmage or some type of 5 on 5 ...come on! Next time I will manage my expectation.

To each his own. It was a damn good show.

Same here. Glad to find out it was actually loud to those in the arena.

The grand kids were watching with me and I told them they would need ear plugs. But, that sure wasn't the case.

Geron's athleticism was plainly evident and I look forward to seeing him play. However, it usually takes time for a JC player to adapt to the next level. We should adjust our expectations accordingly.

Good point, but I think the expectation ship has already sailed to glory land---taking most of us with it.
