If you want to know how teams stack up ranking wise, Ive found 1 ranking system among all components (and lord knows I spend too much time looking), that has by far and away been the most accurate and most fair to all conference in my opinion. I say this with complete unbias. It is the DeSimone rankings, they have NIU at 45 righ now which I think is spot on

It has two teams worse than Eastern Michigan? How accurate can it be?

I noticed that ugh, not good. Well I didnt notice our future opponents, just the ones we had played were ranked so low. Helped the morale a little to see Army get by BC, and also to see CMU play a respectable game in Toledo.

New DeSimone rankings are out, Huskies by 7 spots to number 38. I even signed this guys guestbook last week telling him what a great job he was doing and how impartial his calculations are. This is by far the best ranking system I have ever seen, and the most fair. Ohio has moved up to 22!
