RE: Recruiting Thread- News on Greg Murphy and Video: Interview with Nigel Pruitt
Pruitt seems nice and smart. Looks like a much better character than Wiz Khali--- i mean Spencer Dixon....

Yonel Brown's team Berkmar is in the final 8, and he helped his team take out Norcross which is a damn good win.

I'm glad we got players coming from winning teams. Thats always a plus.

KSU could have a D-1 guard transferring in but I hear there's not enough scholarships left. Letting a good one get away!

Lets trade our scholarship for a 2016 future 4-star and cash considerations? Or can we not do that in college...

Hunter Harris - very slim chance as has bigger programs interested.
Coty Clarke - no chance. has offers from Georgia and other bigger programs
Byron Trench - we have a shot at this guy if we are going after him.
Colin Borchert - zip, zilch, nada

But, I do like your optimism...

Can't remember exactly where I saw it, but kid is averaging a double/double, was FOY in his conference, and there was a couple of lines about various schools and their interest. We still have a chance at him, but if someone marginally better offers, we might lose out. Plus, not sure how many scholarships we have left to offer. Ark St. is definitely one of them, but KSU has to be a better place than any school with Arkansas in the name.... Don't think I'd ever want to go to school in that state.

Arkansas State is playing the finals of the Sunbelt Conference Championship game against North Texas. They just knocked off #1 seed MTSU.

@ Statman: never said they weren't any good at hoops in the state of Arkansas, just that KSU has to be a better place. As in, it isn't located in the state of Arkansas.....

Amir Maddred is a bruiser. You can tell he plays physical. I like him.

After watching more clips of Myles, and and parts of a couple of his games, i just dont understand how he flew under the radar. That kid is a damn good player. Plus he brings that energy and natural leadership, qualities you cant teach.

Me too man. He would be a great get. Going to be tough to wrestle him away from "Rider, Temple, St. Joe's, Michigan & Notre Dame" though.

We're not recruiting him. Never even heard of him. Our 2013 targets have been set for a long time.

"RT @TheRecruitScoop: 2013 Camden (NJ) wing Amir Maddred lists Rider, Temple, St. Joe's, Kennesaw State, Michigan & Notre Dame."

Take it for what it's worth.

That means schools he's interested in, not schools that have offered or have contacted him. He's a massive reach for the Big East. Our 3 priorities are all top 45 recruits nationally in 2013.

Why would have have interest in those programs and then Kennesaw State? Seems odd.

Because who wouldn't want to play college basketball at Temple, Michigan, or Notre Dame?

I wanted to go to Stanford, but I would not have been accepted. Not really any different.

Nice research. Jordan Neff is right down the street from us. Maybe we can steal him. He also breaks the sterotype that white men cant jump
