I had some doubts as well when Ball St was ahead 31-14. Way to prove me wrong.

Also, props to Ball State. They came to play tonight.

Doeren and company better be ready for EMU. They will not be the pushovers like they have been in previous years.

We've got 10 days to prepare for EMU. Team better not come out flat. They should spend thanksgiving together at the Yordon center haha

I guess I'm going to have to take next Friday off

RE: BSU @ NIU Game Thread
I'm pround of the team today. They weathered two fumbles including a Harnish Fumble return for a TD(likely a 14 point swing) a fake punt run of 70 yards, an onside quick that should have been recovered by the Huskies, and at least 4 personal foul calls. The ball simply did not bounce our way much tonight (except for the personal foul on Harnish, which was a pick 6 and a Huskie loss)

Good teams find ways to win when they aren't at thier best, and thats what they did today. Great win... get some rest come back prepared in 10 days and kick the snot out of EMU.

Not to take too much away from Ball State, but we pissed on ourselves all night much more than they came to play. Turnovers, penalties, bad mistakes. We were the far superior team on the field tonight and we tried as hard as we good to give it away. Thank God for the roughing the passer penalty on BSU.

Yes they sure did. Officials, & our stupid penalties helped them out big time too.

OK - my kids are telling me that the last time we lost in Huskie Stadium it was to Ball State. Is this correct?

Jeez...I am still so pumped with adrenalin I can barely type....shaking like a damn leaf. 03-lmfao

I thought the fireworks were awesome, but I also was thinking this would be real bad if they come up with a freak play to win. We seem to be getting rid of these late game demon losses

Amen to that....and the horsecollar penalty against Harnish. Which scared the sh$t out of me by the way. Did anybody see him come down on his knees awkwardly? Scary ....very scary.

Delegal with three personal foul penalties. There is no excuse for that. If I was Doeren, I would have benched him after his second personal foul.

No. Not correct. Idaho in 2009 was the last loss. 14 in a row at Huskie Stadium. 02-13-banana

Yea...that's why it's good I wasn't at the game. I wanted to strangle him.

Talk about a wild swing of emotion with that! Usually we end up getting the bad last-minute break. Now things are going our way near the end.

Is it destiny?

What a ride! The roughing the passer was a huge break tonight. I was sitting in a Ruby Tuesday's by Hartford, Conn airport going completely crazy. Harnish is a treasure, but what a great night for the receivers who made some unbelievable catches.
