We have had some bad years in this conference for football, but do you think looking at the overall picture this has shaped up to be a very solid conference this year. Could be the most underrated conference in the country right now.

Niu over Kansas and Toledo over Syracuse would've sweetened the pot. its definitely a fun year though.

NIU should have beaten Kansas too. Its been disappointing to see Kansas get blown out to much, I thought they were just better than we thought. I guess thats not the case.

The MAC is having an alright season. There is decent parity in the conference. But there is also too much **** in the conference, and alas this team has very little in the way of good out of conference wins as is the case every year.

The MAC brand of football is a good brand of football. But lets not get carried away in the context of how good it is relative to the rest of division I football.

No offense but the MAC has alright seasons because there is 4 good teams in the MAC.

MAC has two in the top 10 and 5 in the top 20!

and thats about it

Kent State couldn't win the Illinois Class 6A or above title.
When we have all our schools out of the bottom 10 then it is a good year.

That is a quote directly from the article, but if you look at the rankings above by division, the CUSA west is ranked higher.

No if, ands, or buts(No excuses here). Toledo failed to capitalize on opportunities at the end of both games that would have sealed the deal.

Parity reigns in the MAC once you get past the bottom-feeders.. Central Michigan beating NIU is but just one example of that equation at work. There isn't that much that separates CMU, WMU, NIU, Toledo, Temple, Bowling Green and whoever else you want to make an argument over.

That parity you speak of is just being a deep conference this year. Finally good to see for the MAC! Several good teams not just one or two.
