Did not expect that. I assumed they would only have "invited" if they knew they would accept. I'm not sure if this opens the floodgates or not, but its a bad sign for C*USA.

What gives me pause is that we hear nothing from the SMU and UCF camps, and I figured they would have accepted at the same time, but maybe its a Domino effect that Houston is pushing for and they are willing to make a $10 million gamble.

I'd say its legit that the invite has been issued. If Houston is smart they will wait out and see what happens with the SEC/Big 12 etc.

Congrats to the Cougars, Mustangs and Knights if all of this works out. I wish you guys well in the future except when you're playing one of the current members of CUSA.

It is unfortunate that at a time where you guys should be celebrating that this whole thing is being managed by a group of people that apparently couldn't manage a 1st grade field trip. Could this process possibly be any more screwed up than it is?

Looking like a potentially disastrous week for C-USA, and especially my Pirates. Holland is going to have a tough time talking a lot of ECU fans off the ledge if this continues the way it's heading.

Schools left should immediately schedule a vote and not allow any participation in the championship game.
