ki leave ashamed of this team, this defence and this coaching staff.....you cannot win a game if you never make your opponent punt. THis was sad and whtis will be a long season...shameful. This was a MUST win and i cannot get past this....top to bottom this team sucked tonight! I dont care if the offense was good...we lost to Kansas and that is that. I question Dorean as a hire, his staff and the preperation that went into this game. Shameful....will not be waring my hukie pride for quite some time now

They would have only been up by a FG. Not like we would have needed to score a TD. I think it would have been the better strategy when the defense didn't stop them the whole game.

Well, have fun next week. Hope you guys that go to SF drink heavilly before, during and after the game. It is going to be ugly.

Take a breath. It's a long season. It's annoying as hell that we lost this game but let's be fair. We certainly played bad defense but it wasn't a humiliating loss. No reason to disown the team.

And it looks like we have our first post-loss emo posts. Good times.

I thought the defense would be better with Doeren. But it's not... It's worse. It was unimaginably bad.

I go back to the first half. The play review on the TD was incorrect.

There better be changes on that defense next week.. I don't give a **** if we play freshmen, outside of baxter and progar, noone deserves to start on that D

I hear ya, I'm just saying we came shockingly close to playing effective defense at the end of that drive. And to me, the larger point is wasting 2 2nd half timeouts. We could have tried to stop them AND stopped the clock. We could've have had the best of both worlds....in a close game, you can't waste timeouts.

it is the bane of being a huskie fan...we cannot step up and behave like a winner....3rd and 33...the akron hail mary, the Miami tip....the northwestern Hurd stumble and this....we have no idea how to be a winner....which means we know too damn well how to be a loser....i am SOOOOOOOOOOO ******* pissed at the huskie D (and the coordinator) right now....the fans deserved better than this.
