RE: MAC releases football schedule
Sitting and "expecting excellence" and doing things to assist "Bronco excellence" is two different things. I want all Bronco fans to work on behalf of our teams "attaining excellence".

Stop the negative thoughts, deeds and comments. Make it a positive environment for our athletes and work on making WMU a better place and yes "expect success" in return.

Always proud to be a Bronco.

Here"s how the year is going to play out:

Western Michigan

at Michigan L
Nicholls State W
*Central Michigan W
at Illinois W
at Connecticut L
*Bowling Green W
*at Northern Illinois W
*at Eastern Michigan W
*Ball State W
*at Toledo, 8:00 pm (ESPN2/ESPNU) W
*at Miami, 8:00 pm (ESPN2/ESPNU) W
*Akron, TBD (ESPNU/ESPN3.com) W

If the O-line gives Alex some time we can tear it up this year!!! We got a solid RB Tervin Drake, (4) Outstanding WR's Jordan White, Robert Arnheim,Chled Ravenell and Josh Schaffer (watch out for this kid this year. He's a big strong fast receiver) he's going to surprise some folks this year

Welcome to the board, BrDad. Love your outlook.

The only two picks I might quibble with are the road games at NIU and Toledo. Not that we aren't capable. I just wouldn't necessarily pick them. With NIU with a new staff, it could help us out there.

Toledo fans, IMO got an inflated idea of just how good their team was in their win against us last season. That late season game at Toledo could be.......HUGE in terms of the west race.

The near future looks really good. Can't help but be antsy for football season.

I have a feeling WMU will Likely win the Akron, Nicholls State, BSU, and EMU game with no problem. Likewise, have a feeling WMU will lose the UM, Illinois, UCONN, UT, and NIU games. The games I think will be toss ups will be CMU, Miami, and Akron. Depending on how those games go WMU could be anywhere between 7-5 and 4-8. I have yet to see a magic season out of a Cubit lead team and I dont think that it will happen this year either.

Michmaster... C'mon man have some faith. I really like this schedule Step 1: play tough and hard at Michigan, Step 2: Destroy Nicholls State...step on their throats and don't let up until the final whistle blows. I love the fact that the CMU game comes early in the season. Step 3: use the momentum from the NS win and hit the CMU square in the jaw. We will WIN this game! Watch and see. For steps 4- 9 see steps 1-3. The only MAC team that presents a problem this year is NIU. Toledo is overrated.

Dude's a CMU fan. Don't think you're going to sway him on that one.

Toledo is loaded with talent. That includes: transfers, JUCO's, and RSFr that are eligible for the fall: RB Josh Haden, WR Cordale Scott, WR/KR Cassius McDowell and LB Jordan Barnes.

If you don't expect excellence, you'll probably never achieve it.

Mr. Whinny is expecting. (Oh, knock it off before you even start!) 03-lmfao
