http://www.darkhorizons.com/films/566/The-Expendables

Chew on this cast for a minute..

Sylvester Stallone
Jason Statham
Jet Li
Dolph Lundgren
Eric Roberts
Randy Couture
Steve Austin aka Stone Cold
Mickey Rourke
Bruce Willis
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Danny Trejo

Can't wait till this Friday.

I only wish somehow Willis and Ahnuld could have done more in it but still, to have them in it to begin with is nothing short of win.

Movie is awesome....

Just as raw as the last Rambo flick and everyone gets good screen time to do what they do.

Did anyone get this on BR? The ComicCon panel discussion was great on some of the background of how this movie came together.

I wonder if Stallone could pull off a sequel.

It's looks like an awesome film. But I'm surprised Jet Li accepted the role. He had said he was going to stop doing martial arts in films. I guess the money and the supporting cast made this film too attractive to pass up on...

It doesn't surprise me that both Jean Claude Van Damme and Stephen Seagal bailed on the film. Neither one likes sharing credit...

Li could have played "define martial arts" film for this as he did some guns and some kung fu... nothing like Tai Chi Master, Fearless, Fist of Legend, Unleashed ....

He also did The Forbidden Kingdom after he made that statement.... I guess he meant the more standard martial arts fare.

If Jet only has a few martial arts scenes, it's not as strenuous as the other films. But I'd imagine the money was the deciding factor...

Steven Seagal will never work with Avi Lerner, and vice versa. The dislike is mutual...

They have a new trailer out now but

Chuck Norris = IN
Jean Claude Van Dame = IN

Bruce Willis and Arnold have larger roles and apparently more screen time.

and they have pretty much the original cast back for the 2nd go around.

Sweet baby Jesus this sequel will kick ass.

It's bad when Randy Couture, someone who hasn't acted in many movies at all, is a better actor than Jean Claude Van Dame. Pretty sure he could kick the ballerina's ass as well.

Nic Cage might be in #3

Nothing against Cage but I can't see him fitting in with these films although, he could make for a cool villain.
