I realize that both of our offensive and defensive lines are bigger than wisconsin's and that we are the team from tradition rich texas. Its just bad for us and the big east..If we win we were supposed to win and if we lose..etc. etc. Oh well it will be interesting to see if decided to wear them down with our size or try to beat them with our speed?

Nice win For the ville it was fun to watch that game with a rooting interest. I cant wait to start playing u guys again. I hope strong has things headed in the right direction. Cant wait to see ur new 53K stadium, u pack it everytime right?

It actually 55K and we averaged 50K and some change which is gr8 for a 7-6 club. I suspect it will be close to capacity most of the time under Strong.

I can't wait to renew our budding rivalry. I still remember the beatdown you gave us in 2001 on Thanksgiving weekend.

I'm tell you are going to really enjoy this conference. Yes we want to beat the hell out of each during conference play but when any school plays an OOC game-(outside of Pitt rooting for WVU or WVU rooting for Pitt haha!) we root for each other.

The top of the MWC is similar to the BIG EAST, the difference is that you will not have any real off weeks in this league. Top to bottom it is stronger then you faced before.

If the league was smart they would schedule it like this in the final two weeks-(Rivalry Week/Championship Week) every year to build up rivalries.

Pitt-WVU-(Backyard Brawl)
UConn-Rutgers-(Rivalry should be pushed)
Louisville-Cincinnati-(Keg of Nails)
Syracuse-Boston College-(OOC game and old rivals)
South Florida-TCU-(Florida vs. Texas angle)

Then set up games that might be for the BIG EAST Title on Championship Saturday

Don't forget the River City Trophy Rivalry between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. That game has decided the Big East championship and BCS bid, or who controls it, the last two years. We actually had a de facto Big East championship game last year that turned out to be a classic. Hopefully our 10th member will be Houston, then we can have a Battle of Texas, steal some limelight away from the Big 12. Either way I'm rooting big time for TCU. I don't know how it's David and Goliath when TCU was ranked #4 last yeare and played in a BCS bowl game. Take care of business guys, I actually think you give Wisconsin serious matchup issues such as speed on the corners and the passing game.

Its gonna be really great to have a rooting interest in the Rose Bowl for a change! I'm definitely rooting for the Horned Frogs, I've always liked you guys before, but now its a personal interest in conference brethren.

even if tcu wasn't in the beast i would root for tcu. i'm glad your in the beast and i'll be rooting for you guys hard. i live an hour and a half from east hartford and i plan on seeing you guys play uconn there. there is a great diner in vernon conn called reins deli, all the new yorkers stop there on the way and bostonians catch it on the way home fr new york.

It will be a touch game for TCU. Wisky got a tough OL and they run the ball a lot. Key for TCU is stop the run. TCU got an awesome linebacker so they might be up to the task.

That would be the dream scenario...every1 wins their bowl games and future BIG EAST school beats Wisconsin and UConn shuts up every1 and beats Oklahoma!

UConn probably wouldn't shut up anyone with a win in the Fiesta Bowl - except perhaps Bob Stoops, who could end up getting shown the door after another big failure to what Sooner fans consider an inferior team...

Most BE fans will be routing for TCU. At RU we rout for the Knights first, all other BE teams second and whoever is playing PSU third.
