For the little I've seen him Lynch looks better than Grady too! Kill really blew that one.

Coach Kill and staff have won me over. Are they human and do they make mistakes? Yes That said they have done a great job recruiting and building the program. It is beginning to pay off this year and it looks like what they have built has legs and we could be set up for some sustained success for the next several seasons.

You know at first I thought that too, but in hindsight, that Iowa State benching might have been the best move Coach Kill has made all year. Honestly. Harnish is a completely different player today because of it.

Those players are also the upperclassmen. If the best players on the team were Freshmen and Sophomores, this wouldn't be a first place team. It's as much about experience and time developing physically and mentally as it is who brought them here.

Sure am happy he left a nice array of players and that Kill was able to win them over

Why do you characterize it as a benching when Grady practiced with the first team all year and comments by Kill indicate he thought Harnish was still rusty after knee rehab? There have been a lot of rumors and baseless theories floating around but they are just that. Evidence points to the fact that Kill had Grady slotted for starting QB for some time. What leads you to believe Harnish's performance is in any way connected to Grady starting game #1?

I agree but Kill is bringing the talent, speed, and strength we've never had. I believe that why we were able to beat two big 10 teams in the past 2 years. We have depth that we really never had before

I'm happy we are on a roll, but come on - Kill's "big" wins have been against weak teams compared to Joe's wins, and Pettibone even had a bigger win against Fresno State who was ranked when slaughtered them. Kill hasn't beaten any team that we shouldn't have beat regardless of the coach, and he's lost to teams that we should have beat - especially ISU this year. Even if we go 12-2 this year, unless we somehow luck into playing a good team in a bowl, who did we beat that was really any good?

MD.. how do you have any clue how different he is? He was quite good before he hurt his knee before. His good play could have nothing to do with the benching, and everything to do with being healthy again. There's literally no way to ever know what effect the benching had on the kid.

3 of those 4 wins were at Huskie Stadium before a frenzied full house. What's the win that lifted us out of the ashes, regenerated Huskie Nation, gave us the biggest publicity, and started the crowds regularly flowing into Huskie Stadium? The win against Maryland - at Huskie Stadium.

Want to bring back the excitement and crowds to our home stadium? I think the answer is quite evident. Well, at least it's evident to some of us.

Play an ACC team at home in DeKalb, but Wis and Iowa, can't turn down $1 mill plus to play at SF, not in these times of tight budgets
