RE: MAC Championship
Are there any rules that might be in place to stop it? With the wide sections on the East side, could make it difficult for vendors to sell / fire hazard.
Otherwise, I have to agree with RB, it seems like a no-brainer to me. You'd think some student would be happy to take the extra cash from that kind of job.

Are we all too fat and lazy to get off our butts during pauses in games like TV Timeouts lasting several minutes to go and get our own food?
Do most college stadiums offer this premium service in the stands?

Cybes.. it's not just laziness. It's missing part of the game, and bothering people by making them get up to get out of the way, so you can get to the aisle.

How often do we get up while watching games at home to get more salsa , chips, or wings, beverages etc?
I look forward to missing Malaguena.

Fair enough, but that obviously doesn't take as long, and no one else is interrupted when I do so.

I can't even take you seriously right now cybes.
Do you realize how long it takes sometimes to go get a drink at Huskie Stadium? And I'm thinking on the east side...the west side requires you to walk up and down 500 ramps to get anywhere. When I'm at sporting events I don't even want to go to the bathroom because I know it will take much longer than I want it to and I don't want to miss the game. I don't think I've ever walked down to the concession area to buy a hot chocolate at Huskie Stadium but I certainly would if they were available at my seat. In fact, it would make the game a lot more enjoyable when it's 25 degrees and windy as hell. I remember watching the Navy game and wondering wtf I was doing there. Anyway the concession sales people could work largely off commission so the cost probably wouldn't be very substantial.

"Premium service"??? When vendors are selling food to the reserved seats in Wrigley I don't think that is even close to premium service.
It is about selling more food to make MORE MONEY!

That hurt a little, didn't it?! :) Just joking! I'm glad we can agree to disagree on some issues and agree on others.

RE: MAC Championship
AGAIN , TAKE THIS Q SERIOUSLY: Where else in a college campus stadium do football fans have such "premium" service usually provided mostly to those paying for PREMIUM seats?
I dont recall it at Michigan or Illinois or Wisconsin?
I too froze my extremities at Navy game. Big deal. It's football season, come prepared and tuff it out.
Imagine how players not actively participating in the game very much are feeling on the sidelines?
Are they enjoying hot chocolate and coffee?
Send a desginated play misser ( girlfriend, buddy, your kids, wife ) from your group for coffee & blah pizza and weinies & take turns missing plays.
Pee during TV time outs and during halftime. Isnt that what halftime should be used for by fans - unless you really, really dig Malageana . Seems like many TOs last forever when seated in the stands or watching on TV.

Pretty sure they had them at Minnesota. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm almost certain a kid came by with pop.

What point are you missing? This is about increasing sales as much as it is about improving the experience for the fan. Not too much into customer service are you?

Ha, no RB, as long as your points make sense, doesn't bother me to agree with them. I'm not going to deny a good idea, just because I don't respect the person who said it.

That comment just proves what an a-hole you are. I put out an olive branch and you reply saying you don't respect me. Believe me, the feeling is more than mutual, as I think you're an idiot, but this is supposed to be a fun message board, so I was going to let that slide, but not anymore.

What are the costs/benefits to selling how much more hot chocolate served seatside than dowstairs in warming spaces during really cold games or more weinies or pizza?

I remember a few years back they had kids selling concessions during the game up and down the aisles on the east side. I thought it was a nice touch, and I think it was one of the few times i have bought concessions at huskie stadium.

Personally, I dont leave my seat except for half time and usually its out to the vehicle to um, "mid game tail gate". Ill try really hard to avoid missing a second of action. Id like some hot dogs brought to me.
