I really can't see FIU being that bad, but what do I know?

Quote:Weaknesses: FAU not only lost the best player in school history in Smith. It also lost TE Jason Harmon, WR Chris Bonner, FB Willie Rose and the entire starting offensive line. Of the potential starters on the line, only two have game experience.

Ouch!

FAU is going to be terrible this season, I feel bad for their fanbase. I think FIU wins the Shula Bowl this year.

You would think that eventually, though, the Florida athletes that FAU and FIU have been stockpiling will come through with big seasons. There is always a surprise team in the Sun Belt. It was us last year.

Ouch!

03-nutkick Indeed.

FAU board keeps talking about how great Morris is and how JVC got great experience last year that will carry them thru.

My response is how many holes will be open with a brand new OLine? I see JVC running for his life if the line cant come togehter.

We even pulled one of our Dline and switched him over to Oline so we had someone out there with game experience.

I coiuld easily see us at 4-8 to be honest. But I also see the potential for 7-5.

Too early to tell.

1st game against UAB should be a good indicator of how far the athletic talent will get us through the experience factor.

Wow, they've got NMSU above Tech?!! We could have beaten them by 100 last year if we wanted to. What a difference a year makes.
