17 points?

I think it's because we practice in an 80 yard turf bay. We get to the 20 and it feels like we've gone the length of the field.

We obviously need to add on to that building.

4 pics and a fumble didn't help. But you're right that we have redzone issues because we don't have much of a TE game and lack strong running inside because our OL isn't dominating inside.

We need a good RT so guys can play where they belong. Jack doesn't appear to be the guy. Hopefull it is Samson. If not, we may be in trouble unless Marcus Cann can be that guy.

O'Neill will be our next RT according to those who've seen him play. Swanson will move back to RG. We have lots of candidates for LG and even C. OL should be better next season, but at this point I don't take anything for granted. Cubit and his coaches have a LOT of work to do before next season. What we have is not acceptable.

Shoot, forgot all about O'neill. Yep, he will be our starter I am assuming. We have some depth. I assume Clemens will be the Center. But Swanson, Galeher, Parker, should fill the rest of the line out. There should be a ton of competition.

On a good note, I thought the crowd was good for the night. Tuesday and an average team? Not bad. Too bad this team couldn't reward them with a W.

Cubit has to do some work this offseason. If I am the AD, he is now officially on the hot seat. You can't lose games like that. That hurts your program getting beat by a 1-10 program on national tv.

Read up on recruits from the south. When they get a chance to watch you on tv, looking awful doesn't help.

You're thinking like a fan.

Cubit has had a lot of success. He has had no problems with his players (knock on wood) and he's been a good representative for the university. In addition he has a lot of years on his contract. Even if he went 0-10 (which he won't) they aren't buying out contracts in this economic environment.

We're not ND or UM. One bad season does not equate to putting him on the hotseat.

well said...the fact of the matter is, Cubit is a class act who will win anywhere from 5-9 games a year...and given the fact that we're the MAC...that is good enough for me.

Next seasons O-Line two deep should be:

LT Parker/Peterson/Davisson
LG Swanson/Hadel/Zielenski
C Mitchell/Galeher
RG Jaeger/Clemens
RT O'Neill/Samson

On paper that would appear to be one of the best lines we've ever had. One would think you could run behind that line...........one would think.

Perhaps, but actually we have been 5-7 two of the last three seasons. Cubit is 1-4 against Central.

Al Molde was fired after one losing season that followed six straight winning seasons and he was a great WMU representative, kids rarely got in trouble, etc. And his staff didn't have Brown or Seelye Centers to work with.

Losing to a one-win Ball State team on Senior Night and national TV is very disappointing. Let's hope it was an aberration, not a symptom.

Back when Cubit used to chew AZZ in the locker room, we had winning seasons. Now he is hugging in the locker room.... :domokun:

We need to get back to tough love....Coach Cubit preparing for the next Bronco receiver to drop a pass that hits him in the hands:
