NIU @ Ohio Game Thread
A little early but I'm pretty excited. Just bought myself a six pack of Three Floyd's Gumballhead and am planning on brewing a batch of beer while watching the game on my laptop. Beautiful November afternoon as well.

Let's Go Huskies. I can comfortably say that I want to go to Toronto in January!!!

I won't pick a team but tails will win.

And Ohio will score first...can almost guarantee the defense looks like garbage on the first possession

RE: NIU @ Ohio Game Thread
If Spam is healthy, this game is an NIU win and money in the bank for anyone who wants to bet on an 1 point underdog.

Kill has a record of ending streaks against various teams.
An impressive win last year against Toledo at home.(Cannot remember when last we beat Toledo at home). Not in 2004 or 2006. Anyone remember 2002? or 2000? against our ,"Holy nemises"
An impressive win against Western Michigan(4 game win streak over us).
Under Novak we usually sucked against instate 1aa rivals like Western and Southern.
This year for a long time we won very easily.
Ohio beat us easily at home with Wolfe.(Their front line were Huge and very dominant). By 12 points.
I bet that is no longer the case.
They almost beat us in 2004, our best year of 10-2. (they have a 3 game win streak against us at home.)
They have a winning record against us 8-7 and are coached by Ohio/Nebraskan Native Frank Solich. Bet you many Nebraskans will drive down to see this game.

This is another statement game for Coach Kill.
I expect nothing less than a clear NIU victory.

Frank Solich is from Ohio and played and coached at Nebraska, not Iowa.

You are correct.
He played at Nebraska and coached there.
He has a large Nebraska following, not Iowa.
Please forgive me, I get Iowa and Nebraska mixed up at times . LOL

Perez Ashford is out, Spann will see some action, Bryant will play in nickel situations. Harnish is 95%, all info from the SCORE 670.

We will miss Perez Ashford.
It all depends how much Spann can take.
