RPI is very important come NCAA Tournement Time.. We can't just hope to win the Sunbelt Tourney to get invited. We need to keep scheduling
up and win some of those games for the good of us all. Those of us who are between 125 & 200 are just killing us .
Here is the lastest Rankings.

Good Luck to All !

At 67, we are getting awfully close to that magic number of 50 or less.
If we can take care of business the rest of the way, we might just
do it . Looking ahead to a big RPI series against East Carolina. A
Series win there would be huge, but we have to do well in conference
first. Another Win over LSU April 22 would help. Sweeping a top 10
team would be a big boost. Also, Rice coming up.

Is 50 the magic number for getting an at-large?

We at MT are teetering around that mark.

well, it depends how many upsets there are in the conference Tournaments. Those teams get an automatic invite, so if too many
lowere seeded teams step up and win their tournament, it knocks out
some of the 64 best teams in the country. But if your RPI is 50 or below,
you have a good shot. It's best to aim lower..

A top 50 RPI and a SBC regular season title will likely warrant an at-large selection.

Boyd also does an "RPI needs report" that he updates daily. Kind of like a projection what you need to do the rest of the way to get a certain RPI.
