Also, at the SBC baseball tourney in Bowling Green a couple of years ago, I had a "Troy" fan tell me that his team was going to whip my team's ass. He was wearing an Auburn hat, and no Troy gear.

I just laughed and told him that we were not playing Auburn .

At the SBC hoops tourney in Hot Springs....... I had a Troy lady yell "MT sucks". She did it jokingly and just wanted to strike up a conversation. She was wearing a BAMA sweatshirt, and, again, no Troy gear.

that is a touchy subject. it angers the true Troy fans. All the Troy fans on here are diehards, so knowing that, try to be a gentleman and not bring it up. the only outcome from it will be arguments.

We have a few Hog wearing people at our games. I was shocked to see a co-worker who happens to be a die hard hog fan at a Red Wolves game wearing a Red Wolves shirt. I asked him about it on Monday after the game and he said he injoyed the game and planned on going more.

Well, much to our chagrin, there are more UK fans in BG than WKU fans. However, its like that all across the state, even in Louisville. It doesn't matter how far you get away from Lexington, there are always UK fans to be found.

The infamous Blue Mist. Hell, I see quite a few UK plates here in Murfreesboro, and a bunch in Nashvegas.

Actually USF fans have always come off as very nice on Owlsest board, but from what I've read USF/UCF fans just DONT get a long at all.

haha which I don't think we're gods at football it was just a metaphor... This is all in good fun of course, as I have said many times here I respect what FAU has done.

Interesting stuff...At FIU, you also see some scattered UM stuff...last year they showed the kid wearing UM stuff in the Jumbotron, prompting massive boos...it was funny...

As for despising a fan base...heck, I used to be a huge..huge...UM football fan...now, some of their fans are ridiculous in their attitude towards us...Now, that their Athletic Department has totally wimped out on us, of course I despise them...however, I still have "episodes" of where I used to root for the canes.....it's old history now...as I'm 100% FIU Golden Panther now....

UM, of course, followed by UF and FSU (comes from growing up a UM fan prior to becoming a Panther lol) I want to establish a good OOC rivalry with UM and maybe UCF. I think it would be great for Miami and for our state to develop these kinds of rivalries.

North Texas is at the bottom on the Belt now, but even we have some "good stuff". 24 conference titles, including 2 Southland, 5 Missouri Valley and 4 Sun Belt (3 undefeated). 6 bowl games (4 New Orleans, 1 Sun Bowl, 1 Salad Bowl). #16 final season ranking in Coaches Top 20 Poll (1977), Three first round NFL picks.
