Where has this guy been.
Answer: Losing his A$$ at Four Winds.
No, instead she'll be vehemently defended by the right, who, in the back of their minds, know that McCain made a worse decision than Matt Millen on draft day.
OK, now let's get back to FOOTBALL:
Antiquity: Here's the deal: NOBODY in this place would be bringing up (or talking down) John Potter if you hadn't come in here and done your little anklebiting sessions. You've made such a negative impression in here, that any missed PAT, shanked field goal, or kickoff out of bounds will get numerous angry posters in here calling for YOU. You made your bed my friend. Let the kid be, quit talking him up and maybe the pressure will subside.

At the moment I don't see much difference in the 2 year governor of Alaska and the senator who has been in the senate for 143 days. Only dif one is at the top of the ticket and one isn't. But I'll reserve judgement until I see her debate. She gives a good speech, but if she's a train wreck during the debates, I'll probably have to get off the Mccain train, and sit this election out.

Where have you seen him make them in a college game atmosphere? Who cares about high school. I am not impressed with this guy in the least.......why all the hype? All I see from him are booming kickoffs (which is great), but missing extra points and fields goals seem to be the norm.....
Nebraska: 1/1 FG (19 yd) 3/3 XP
NIU: 0/1 FG (25 yd) 3/3 XP
Idaho: 7/7 XP
TT: 5/6 XP
Temple: 0/1 (24 yd) FG 1/1 XP
Seems like below average numbers to me......
How much time do I have to give him to make 20-25 yard chip shots???

Been to several practices and have watched him in warm ups before games and at the half. He's got a bigger leg than any kicker we've had in the last ten year. Yes, a bigger leg than Nate Meyer had as a senior.
Field goals aren't everything. The kid's kicks routinely go into the endzone. Last year teams were fielding kicks at the 20-25 yard line. Even when Meyer was kicking off they were landing at the ten or fifteen. You're mistaken if you think he's a bust.

Field goals aren't everything until it the game winner from 20 yards and he shanks it. I have to agree with ProudBronco on antiquity's cause my distaste for this poor kid.

5 games, 4 FG attempts. That's it. I think it is a product of a couple of things. One, we get in the endzone most times we get in the redzone. Two, Cubit likes to try to convert on close 4th downs. Three, Cubit knows this kid needs some time to get used to the game. I was as mad as anyone to see us go for it on 4th down from the 20ish toward the end of the TT game. I thought that was a great opportunity for him to get a try in, but you don't kick field goals at the end of the game when you're rolling your opponent. He will come along, but I do fear the game will be on the line at some point before he does.

A moron? Me?
Not likely!
Several of you have documented yourselves as cretins. Cretinous critters can't wipe their own drool, let alone make judgments - - - about anything!
John is 1/3 on field goal attempts. He will improve.

Seems like a nice kid. I like he and Ben both are a defensive factor after the kick, they can both blow through blocks and tackle. That is a big plus.
He'll be fine. Just let him go ahead and do his FG thing, it will come around. He'll probably be a kicking leader by the time he leaves WMU.
No comparisons with Sarah please. I'm so over her.

antiquity moves it up a notch.
But then, starting from a -2 reputation, that's not saying a lot.
But a start.
