It costs way too much money to keep it maintained, and it's not well maintained even when money is wasted on it.

Nearly everything in DC is free to access and visit. They all take money to keep up and maintain. What a ridiculous take to just want to demolish an iconic piece of American history that's been around since 1923.

A simple Google search revealed that the Reflecting Pool has been having issues long before Trump wasted money trying to fix it.

That money he wasted on it could have gone to paying off the national debt.
