So this thing happens in a couple hours. Will it have fireworks like the last one? Will Zelenskyy spend time with Senate Dems who then encouraged him to blow up the REM deal that would've been a moot point anyway since Ukraine signed one with the UK anyway? Or will it be all kumbaya and such? Time will tell. (I think we did end up signing it anyway, but I honestly don't remember. lol)

At any rate, this comes on the heels of the Trump-Putin Summit in Alaska, which was actually a darn good meeting. Will a ceasefire be had so we can finally be on the road to ending this thing? God, I hope so.

Russia took the lithium deposits over the last few months. They were close to the front line at the time of the deal. Their offensives seem designed to try to take mineral deposits. Russia doesn’t need them. I think they are just trying to leave Ukraine with nothing.

And as the cherry on top, it seems that republicans have made a shift in attitude towards Ukraine. A majority now want to support Ukraine. Up 30 points from a few months ago. And in the senate it’s the same.

The hyperbole is strong with this one. Come on, WSME. You seriously don't believe all of what you typed in your first several sentences. I mean really, man. I bet anything short of Trump telling Putin "stop the war or you're not leaving here alive" would've elicited this reaction from you. I don't blame you for being passionate about this, but you go way out there sometimes. This is one of those times.

Still, you're right about the last paragraph though. Attitudes in my party have changed on this to some degree. I just want this to end. We've had way too much death and destruction on both sides already. (Still, cool your jets, man. lol)
